BPEL, how hard do you all press ?

BPEL, how hard do you all press ?

When doing BPEL measurements I never quite know how hard to press to give a true measurement. If you press very hard then you are cheating yourself imo. I mean if you don’t have that much of a fatpad what’s the point pressing the ruler in to like the 2” mark or something ? If I stab myself hard enough with the ruler to the point it hurts I can fraud a measurement of 6”+.

So I’m wondering what are your thoughts on this individually, and how hard do you press when taking BPEL measurements ? I tend to press lightly to moderately.

On The Visualiser people are told to press lightly when measuring BPEL, their length averages are supposedly based on this.


Short term goal: 5.25" NBPEL by 31/12/2019

Ultimate goal: 6"+ NBPEL x 5.5"+ girth. Hoping to reach 6" NBPEL by 20/5/2020, my 37th birthday

Dream size: 8"+ NBPEL x 6"+ girth

I am also interested in how others are doing this. Personally, I press as hard as possible so that I can better gauge progress without wondering if I gained only because I pressed harder than the previous time.

I press to the bone, but not painfully. If that makes sense.

As hard as I can and with the same ruler also tilting the hips forward to get the max size possible.

Bone Pressed is just that: press hard to the bone, but not enough to cause pain. You need to be consistent in the process.

Initial: 7” BPEL; 6” NBPEL; 5.25” - 5.5” MEG

Current: 7-7/8” BPEL; 7-3/8” NBPEL; 8.5” BPFSL; 6.5” MEG; 6”x5” Flaccid.

Goal: Improved/consistent EQ while managing ED. Secondary: maintain current stats.

Bone it says. Pressed against the pubic bone.

As standardized as possible. Using the same position and unit perpendicular to the upper body. Measuring in the same circumstances at rest two days after latest workout to exclude the temporary gain on length.

If you are getting +6” BPEL this way then you are +6” BPEL. Anyone else here would take it.

When connective tissue is stretched within therapeutic temperatures ranging 102 to 110 F (38.9- 43.3 C), the amount of structural weakening produced by a given amount of tissue elongation varies inversely with the temperature. This is apparently related to the progressive increase in the viscous flow properties of the collagenous tissue when it is heated. (Warren et al (1971,1976)

Pressing hard or weak does not alter my measurement, it just makes me feel pain if I press hard. If you are pressing the bone, the force should not change its measurement.

How can you be sure you didn’t get results if you don’t even know how to measure?

Just press lightly enough to feel your pubic bone stop the ruler.
