Please understand that I have no intention of using any of these devices until at least three months into my program, but I feel like buying one or more of them now will give me the motivation to reach that three month mark.

Where should I buy a bib hanger? I’ve found a number of suppliers, but which one is best? Where should I buy weights?

Recommended pump? It should have a pressure gauge I assume? Any recommended brands?

Cable Clamps should be easy to come by. Which size though? I assume medium?

As for weights, any normal weightlifting weights will do. Or bottles of water, be creative.

Those are three separate techniques and usually not combined in the same routine. Decide what your goals are and then focus on that. For length, perhaps the Bib or Captains Wench. For girth, perhaps a pump (lapdist) or cable clamps (medium). Especially just coming off the newbie routine do not buy every contraption and beat the hell out of your cock.

Yeah.. That sounds like a rational thing to do. I was just interested in looking into what my options were.

I am currently in newbie routine for the time being since I just started recently, however my question is somewhat related to this thread.

GPrent, if your just coming off a newbie routine, what else is there suppose to be to go onto? Do you just instead go on to more advanced PE’s before doing anything that involves actual equipments? Also is the decision of going off the newbie routine is when the person feels comfortable or is there like a general set amount of time that is recommended?

There are lots of ways to go.

You can just expand on the newbie routine and jelq for a little longer. Or you can start using some more of the advanced manual exercises. Lots of guys get major gains using only manual techniques.

As mentioned before, if you want to focus on length, hanging might interest you. For girth and some length, perhaps pumping. Clamping is also used for girth work.

Just don’t try to hit all of the bases at once by combining hanging and pumping and clamping. Focus on one discipline at a time.

Generally 3 months is a good time to do the Newbie routine for. By this time, you should have a good feel for how you respond to the manual exercises and are also have gained a greater knowledge of your body and can make a more informed choice of future goals and how to achieve them.

So there are certain things to avoid after the newbie routine such as clamps as Slack said above.

It should be more focused on either a pump or hanging (depending on which way you wanna go). However, it’s been reported that doing more advanced manual techniques are more effective than those equipments. Did I understand that?

So what maybe Power Jelg or a different form of stretching, or Ulis are suggested? Or are those techniques are still to advanced for someone getting off the newbie routine?
