How often do you guys do your jelq routines? Once or twice a day? How many days a week etc…

Once a day. Two days on, one day off.

Owing to time constraints, I am able to jelq only for 5 to 10 minutes at a time, but I do several such sessions over the course of the day and accumulate a total of 500 to 600 jelq strokes. I am seeing some gains, particularly in flaccid length and girth. I wonder what the experts on this board think about this spread out routine. Is this eqvivalent to a regular 15 to 30 min routine, or is it less effective? I take one day off a week. I am new to PE and have been jelqing and stretching for a month now. Thanks for your input!

I usually do one day on, one day off. Pretty good flaccid and erect girth gains in a few months. Michguy69’s routine sounds very interesting, though.

I am also very intersested in hearing what the vets have to say about this.

I gained almost three inches (BPEL) in four months time, and I rarely took a day off during the first two months. But I have yet to experience real pain while doing PE and I have never used a “contraption.” All my gains have been “hand held.” I was told at the start and I followed the dictum, “It shouldn’t hurt.” If it starts to really hurt, stop. This is what I did. I never had blood spots, discoloration, or any evidence of injury to my dick. I also went at it “whole hog,” jelqing 60 to 90 minutes a day in one session. I listened to the experts, though, and started out slowly. I didn’t start stretching until after two months jelqing. It’s important to listen to your body. If you’re really tired, stop and rest, maybe a day or two, not more, at least not at the beginning. If you’re really serious about this, you will gain. Some do faster than others. Hope this is of some help.

Have you checked out Thunder’s “Most Important Newbie Threads?” I read as much information as I could find on the web for about a month before I even started PE.

I tried many different approaches, but finally settled on jelqing, at least 3 seconds a stroke, after a ten minute warm up. I dry jelqued upon awakening in the morning, for at least a half hour, before I got out of bed, usually with a 30 % to 50% erection. If I had time, I continued for another half hour to hour when I got out of bed. First thing in the morning is a great time for PE. Your hormones are at their peak. At least mine are. I use
K-Y lubricating jelly or a comparable cheaper one. You just need to wet your prick to keep it working.

I saw immediate gains, so I’m sure I measured more often than most guys. But this was a great motivator for me.

After two months of jelquing 60 to 90 minutes a day, I added the stretches. You name it, I tried it. But I eventually settled on a jelq/stretch combo, pulling it hard in all directions but mainly down. Each stroke lasted at least 5 seconds. I did mainly stretching exercises for the next two months. Now I’m maintaining with the jelq/stretch combo.

What’s most important is the time (at least an hour) and consistency, (every day for me). I also focused on the exercises that felt right. By feeling right, I mean they were pleasurable to do. Not unlike masturbating. But keep in mind that PE is not masturbating. You want to cool it off if you get too close to ejaculation. And besides, you can do real harm if you try these exercises with a fully erect penis.

Don’t forget the kegels. I do at least 200 a day. Some days a lot more. I find the best time for the flexes is when I’m driving to work. But I do them whenever I think about it. They give me a nice flaccid 7” to 8 ” hang throughout the day.

Wow. Horsehung, your posts are helping alot. I have one more question: Did you ever find yourself chopping up jelqing sessions during the day? For instance, one day if you didn’t get enough time in the morning to finish a session, would you supplement with a 15-20min. session in the afternoon and then proceed with evening session as usual? I am asking because I am trying to figure out if your penis responds better to being treated like a muscle (work it hard, then REST) or like a ligament (as mush stress as possible at all times possible). I think even the vets have different theories on this.

I guess my answer would be that I treated it more like a muscle, i.e., work it hard, and then rest. But I’m sure the ligs were stretched in the process because my base girth is now almost 7.50”. If I didn’t get to finish a long morning session, I would usually wait until I had the time, the next day, for example, to give it the usual 60 to 90 minutes. I rarely broke it up into shorter, 20 minute sessions. After a few weeks, I stopped focusing on the time segments, and just focused on the effort and its results. That’s why I soon was spending an hour or two at it.

If you have the time, I believe this is the way to go. I had the time. By the way, I made equal gains jelqing and stretching.

Nice gains mate!!
I gained “only” (well compared to you) 1.75 inches in 6 months with this routine;
2 min warmup
5 min stretches
300-400 wet jelqs

Thats it. 10-12 min tops. 5 days on , 2 off.
I’m not saying I’m right or you are wrong, just we are all different.
Everyone needs to find what works for them.

Those are great gains, mate, for so little effort!! It’s amazing how unique we all are in the way we react (our dicks that is) to different stimuli. I think it has a lot to do with finding a special rhythm that works for each individual. And I’m convinced that good gains have a lot to do with our general physical condition, our original equipment and how motivated we are. I swim a mile a day and am in excellent health for my age. Visualization and proper breathing techniques are also important aspects of PE.

I think many people underestimate the importance of visualisation.
I also agree that it a very important tool in the world of PE.
It plays a large role in my routines. I constantly visualise my dick growing and see myself naked with a huge flaccid hang (kind of like yours really Horse!)
