One bit of advice that I didn’t see covered was Testosterone levels.
Having sex, lifting weights, eating healthy, quitting porn, stop drinking and drug use, quitting smoking, and acting fearless will all boost Testosterone levels.
I attribute my larger than average gains on doing all of these. Use your time off to reflect on the bad habits that you can change easily with the right mindset.

I workout 3-4 days a week. I’ve been on 250mg of testosterone weekly.
My eating and other habits are typical which should be in place for a health conscious person.
