Discoloration

Discoloration

Alright. I’ve read the FAQs and studied up on the techniques. I haven’t started yet because I have a few questions on the matter. The first is discoloration. The FAQ said that it might last up to a year or two, that it would fade eventually. I’m not exactly sure. I was just curious if anyone has started and then stopped long enough to see them disappear completely?

Also, any tips to avoid doing something I’m going to seriously regret would be nice. I’m thinking I’m going to start tonight.

Thanks!

>The FAQ said that it might last up to a year or two, that it would fade eventually.<

If you clamp or hang the discoloration may be more intense. Check out some of the Members Pics. Any normal routine, not pushing the boundaries of sense shouldn’t cause this intense style of discoloration.

>I was just curious if anyone has started and then stopped long enough to see them disappear completely?<

Sure. I stopped. My discoloration faded. There are numerous posts of this nature here.

>Also, any tips to avoid doing something I’m going to seriously regret would be nice.<

  • Start with the newbie routine
  • Don’t modify it until you are 100% sure you know what your are doing
  • Read up on penis anatomy, as much as you can handle, so that you know what you are trying to alter.
  • Look at your penis now in depth before PE, take note of anything and everything. If you don’t you might not know when you’ve changed/injured it.
  • Measure well, before starting. Take several shots at this measurement, you’ll never get the chance again. To know if you are growing you have to know where your started from.
  • Take some pictures for yourself at least. Measured.
  • Remember that you only have one dick and that each time you injure it you’ll have to take time off and it might well injure more easily next time.
  • Be prepared to be doing this for the next 2 years.

Here’s a few threads on discoloration. The first one is the most important as it presents the only truly successful treatment of stubborn discoloration to date. I can personally attest to its effectiveness. My discoloration showed no signs of abating even after about 10 months of complete PE abstinence. The said thread solved my problems.

I’m prepared. I suppose many people say that when starting out, but I’ll try to separate myself . I also don’t think I’ll be in danger of attempting to modify the routine. It’ll be a long time if ever that I’m confident of what I’m doing enough to go astray. I’ll take the path more traveled.

Thanks a lot for the advice. You’re right about all of it; it seems legitimate to me. So what exactly are the common mistakes of the exercise?

Edit: I’m curious on the warm wrap too. Are you flaccid the entire time? How does that work? That’s it.

>I’ll take the path more traveled.<

I like the reference. It’s interesting that Frost has been used by those many millions seeking to blaze a trail for individualism, when the meaning of that poem is really anything but a clarion call for individualism.

>So what exactly are the common mistakes of the exercise?<

  • Pushing too far too quickly
  • Not pushing hard enough

That’s a hard one. PE to work requires enough effort to to be effective and not so much that you cause injury. Experience will help you judge exactly where the line is drawn.

Flaccid is good but a little wood doesn’t hurt. Massage during the warm wrap is also good. Tissue becomes more elastic when heat is applied. In my opinion you need quite a lot of heat, just below scalding level for the skin.

Well Frost indicated that his view was that it doesn’t much matter which road you take. Individualism is an illusory crutch used to define ourselves in relation to others.

I agree with and subscribe to that philosophy, to my peril in some cases. Strongly advise against PE newbies considering such, as do you. Thanks for the explanation. Here’s the PI link
