Some friend told me, even not ejaculating, edging can cause some type of ED , because it generates a lot of dopamine in the brain, and after some time your brain gets used to it, and you will need more than this to get a erection.

Any thoughts?

What do you mean by “too much?” We all have our conception of intensity, by mine 40+ minutes edging with high frequency at same day and weekly is too much and indeed can bring some bad news, as it did for me.

The same can be said when you are too horny (your prostate inflates) and if you do not release the tension can bring some problems.

What I think we PErs fail when edging is controlling our mind, because we are so focused on that pleasure on the penis that we forget to end the session, quit the lust and move on.

I’ve limited my porn usage to a couple of times per year because of this. However as I’m going to get serious about pumping. Many of the experienced gainers say most of their gains come from pumping with porn to keep their erection.

What do you think of only using porn while in the tube? To limit it only to visual stimulation.

This is very interesting, is there anymore information online about this? I have learnt orgasm control during sex over the years and often don’t climax. But my prostate gets very uncomfortable the longer I go unless massaged.

To be more specific has anyone found a way of relieving this prostate tension from prolonged edging other than via orgasm?

I have never used porn while in the tube, I just don’t need it, the seal is good therefore there is no need for me.

Yes, I believe that edging enough creates a routine that says to your brain that it is more important not to ejaculate than to ejaculate. But you would have to do this an incredible amount of time.

Glad to heat that! How is the quality and firmness of your flaccid and erect after pumping? Can you stay erect for the full pump session?

Other veterans here have said they’ve gained the most when they could keep their erection for the entire set. Making a difference between being pumped erect and pumped engorged.

Due to an old injury, before I got to know this page, I have to go easy with the pump, I don’t want to make mistakes because they cost a lot in the long run in my case.

You should always do a good warm-up to do it as it should, I did it without heating and without a vacuum gauge, I had to pay the consequences, luckily the injury is not chronic.

I do a bunch of manual exercises, stretching, jelq, slinkies etc.. after those I get into the pump half-erect for 10 minutes at 5-7Hg, as you see I use it as a complement on my routine, it’s not my main training but it helps a lot.

Read guys like Titleist, Gprent and others with great experience, they know a lot :up:

I’m in a sub/dom relationship with my girlfriend and part of that is the incredible amount of edging and denied orgasms I receive, sometimes many times throughout the day. I’ve never experienced any ED, it makes it much easier to have an erection if anything. After a time it does make it easier to delay your orgasm though, which is great.

I think edging is a time sink because you can do like ten jelqs and that will help you more than a half hour edging
