Due to an old injury, before I got to know this page, I have to go easy with the pump, I don’t want to make mistakes because they cost a lot in the long run in my case.
You should always do a good warm-up to do it as it should, I did it without heating and without a vacuum gauge, I had to pay the consequences, luckily the injury is not chronic.
I do a bunch of manual exercises, stretching, jelq, slinkies etc.. after those I get into the pump half-erect for 10 minutes at 5-7Hg, as you see I use it as a complement on my routine, it’s not my main training but it helps a lot.
