Do you use a spreadsheet for PE?

If not, why not?
Would you use one if one was laid out for you to use?

If you do, why so?
Have you found it beneficial?
What kind of things do you have in your spreadsheet?

Size is little more than a controllable perception without an accurate means of measurement.

I do,

I write down all the Measurements and dates as well as my weight in order to see my progress.

15/10/08 --> 17.0 x 12.5

07/11/08 --> 18.0 x 13.0

Nope, I would probably use one if I was given one though (if it fitted my needs).

I did use to keep a daily log in a text file, so I could keep track and make sure I was wearing my extender 4hours every day, I also used it to describe changes I would see (like veins getting bigger).

My first spreadsheet was just measurements, basically. After a few months I added my routine, number of jelqs, time stretching, stuff like that. I also added a column so that I could put in whether or not I had a “good” workout, it’s very subjective but a very important thing to track. I found that when I felt I had a good workout and could string many of those together I gained, maybe just slightly but I gained. The mental part of PE works too!

Posting 'newbie' but 2+ year lurker and PEer.

Start: ~6" BPEL, ~5" MSEG (If I remember correctly) Now: 7.25" BPEL, 5.25" MSEG (After an 8 month break) GOAL: I'll be finished when I'm done.

*** ALWAYS mind your PI's and EQ's :) *** PE takes knowledge, time, and commitment. If you can't do that, you can't PE. ***

I use a spreadsheet for keeping track of all things PE related, workouts, morning wood, etc. As well as setting goals and projecting future size based on past gain rate.

3/7/08: BPEL 7.00x5.125 Starting PE

2/07/09: BPEL 8.307x5.77 || 211mmX146.5mm

My Log: PE an Engineers approach

Hey

I also use a spreadsheet, with a couple pages: one with a 6 year linear growth and another for a 4 year program.

Each month I fill in my measurements and see how “ahead” or “below” schedule I am.

I would gladly use someone’s spreadsheet if it were more complete (power equations and other tools).

Cya

I don’t for PE because it’s not important for my goals. I do keep track on my Microsoft Outlook when I PE’d and what I did just like I do for my other non-PE workouts.

Only thing I keep on a spreadsheet is my weight, fat% and water%. I weigh myself on Monday, Wednesday and Friday of every week for the past 3 years.

Yes I do,

I write down the dates I PE and take a break, I have specific points in which I measure and type that in as well.

It helps me stay on schedule and not get lazy.

Starting BPEL: 5.6-5.75 Starting MSEG: 4.1 to 4.3

Keeping a description with the things you would see sounds like a very good idea.

I used to work for a plastics company as an operator (terrible job), but when looking through the parts that would come out of the mold there were several different indications of a bad part and ‘how bad’ it would be. This to me is a lot like the PI recommendation we have here.

Thanks.

Did you decide on a good workout directly after the workout or did you wait until a day later to decide based PI? Adding time sounds like a good idea. This to me sounds like a very good and true evaluation of time in to output as apposed to years/months doing something. Some spend hours a day doing PE activities and some spend 20 minutes.

Thanks for the reply :)

If you could make a list of certain power equations you’d be interested in having that would be nice.

I’d be interested in seeing both of your spreadsheets (vkrs’s and PE Engineer’s).

This goes out for anybody though, so I can best evaluate how everyone uses their spreadsheet.

Same way I use my spreadsheet.
