Does constant heat damage fertility permanently?

Does constant heat damage fertility permanently?

Does using a heat source (heat pad, rice sock etc.) have a permanent negative effect on fertility or can even cause infertility? I’m a little worried cause isolating balls during hanging e.g. is almost impossible / very impractical.

I bought some flexible heat shield from amazon and wrapped it around the outside of my heating strip/pad for hanging.

BPEL: 5.5" --> 7.9" ; BPFSL: ~5.6" --> 8.5"

Thermal isolation is your friend.
I do not know how you use your heating source for hanging but I imagine you have heating pad wrapped around you penis.
And there is nothing more easy than go and buy some 1cm thick thermal isolation and wrap it around your heating pad or rice sock.

If you use infra lamp that would be harder to isolate…

Thermal isolation is a good tip. Thank your for that.

What about heating the ligs with isolation? I’m just using a heating pad on my shaft so it I can also heat the pelvic area.

How excactly do you wrap during hanging? I tried it out but its almost like having a fulcrum and not straight down.

Start: B=D

Goal: BD

I do not hang so I can’t help you here :)

And I do not stretch either atm, I just pump so I did my own heating pad for pump and I isolate it with thermal isolation.

Back to my original question: Does heat actually damage testicles or does it “only” lower the current sperm production/quality and is reversible? Or do I have to cook my balls in order to damage them permanently which is unlikely to happen using a heating pad I hope.

Google “heat based contraception”. Lots of information on the web.

Initial: 7” BPEL; 6” NBPEL; 5.25” - 5.5” MEG

Current: 7-7/8” BPEL; 7-3/8” NBPEL; 8.5” BPFSL; 6.5” MEG; 6”x5” Flaccid.

Goal: Improved/consistent EQ while managing ED. Secondary: maintain current stats.

I did but it’s only about temporary ball heating and not about testicular tissues itself. I think a heating pad or rice sock is a little warmer than what they tested and it’s also used for longer period of time than heat based contraception studies show.

118°F can cause 1st degree burns.

Heat pads can reach 160°, with low settings generally at 110°.

One of the heat induced contraceptive studies used 109°, which degraded sperm quantity&quality during 3 mos test period. Sperm returned to normal after the study ended.

I am highly confident that your skin will yield to the heat before permanent damage occurs to the testes.

I don’t see how insulation is possible for dynamic hanging. Especially for clamp hangers cause there isn’t much room to wrap anything around the wrap. Or do I have wrong image for doing that cause I don’t see how to separate balls from shaft?

Using heat during PE is a hot topic here but its effects on testicles and fertility not so much. That’s why I’m asking cause there are no information for this specific problem. Heat based contraception may be closely related to this but studies are all about sperm cells and not the organs. I doubt there will be any studies about this one. I looked through some papers but they all focus on fertility.

Balls protection should be Nr.1 priority so maybe that might be the better question and should rename the thread title into “How to make balls heatproof?” or something like that. Sorry for misleading title then. My question was more like a worst case scenario where balls can’t be protected enough and if long-term heat damage the reproduction organs itself and not the sperm cells.

(read the updated post and agree with it)

There have been multiple conversations on heat’s effect on sperm production, generally closing with cover up if concerned or let them regenerate a few months after cessation of application of heat.

Heat is not required for growth. Heat increases tissue elastity which leads to quicker gains as compared to no heat added. “Quicker” in PE terms is still “a long time”.

So there are multiple options to try out, of which none may be perfect.

Only heat the distal half of your penis, staying well away from the testicles.
Heat the dorsal side of your penis, again staying away from the testicles.
Insulate your testes as best you can. Cut a hole in a pair of underwear to slide your penis through. Pack a hand towel around your testicles.
Use a c ring around your testicles to separate them from your penis.
Use warm water or rag or rice sock to heat, then strap in, then add heat as necessary.
