Does max stretched length track erect length reliably?

Does max stretched length track erect length reliably? My erections vary a lot, but I can get consistent stretched length measurements by using a fixed vacuum pressure in the penis pump after about 20 minutes of the pumping routine.

Since starting my haphazard efforts, I have noticed the stretched length seems to have increased by about 3/8 inch (give or take 1/8). I wonder if that might indicate say 1/8 inch increase in erect length or something? (I have been doing this for about six months, so I want some signs of progess - ha ha.)

After 6 months consistent you should have seen some growth by now. With pumps you’ll mostly see girth improvement and length may feebly trail behind. Unless you’re putting direct longitudinal stress on your unit like hanging or manual stretching, you may not see much length improvement. A pump applies more random indirect stress which can result in varied results; most likely give or take 85% girth and 15% length.

But to answer your question, seeing a larger size inside the pump than your natural state measurements is normal. If you see that number rising, then you can expect that your tissues are growing. If they’re staying the same, then either you’re doing something to cause your expansion to reverse or your pump has measurements that are inaccurate. My pump is an entire 3/4 inch off to make me see a larger unit than reality (as if I don’t know how to measure myself, turds).

Things that can reverse gain potential are damage to the unit from over exercising, sleeping on stomach which presses on the unit or could damage the unit during an erection, smoking which causes shrinkage and tissues unable to repair, lack of blood flow from nutrient deficiencies like vitamin D, wrapping or cock ringing too long in attempt to avoid turtling etc. Turtling should only happen if you’ve put too much stress on the unit, damaged the unit, or dehydration which smoking does.

Thanks, that sounds reasonable to me. I have been kind of inconsistent in my efforts, because there has been a steep learning curve. I experimented with pumping for a month or so, and more recently I have experimented with a couple of different inexpensive extenders from LeLuv. It’s been difficult for me to learn how to use these tools, because I am kind of a klutz I guess.

Lately, I have been focusing on the extenders. I use the LeLuv slider extender in the evening at a high tension for three or four 15-20 minute sessions. I can’t wear that extender for longer periods of time, because I start feeling a burning/stinging pain where it pushes against the scrotum. Surprisingly, I have noticed that the length I can handle has increased a little bit even though it has only been a month. Some of the perceived gain might be coming from learning how to use the extender better, so who knows.

I have been using the pump mostly only for measuring purposes, because I remember the length several months ago before using the extenders. It seems like it might be 3/8 inch of increased stretched length which I hope might mean 1/8 inch of erect length.

I hope to learn to use my more comfortable spring extender for several hours during the day. The duration is probably more important than the tension for growth. It has been a struggle to make these extenders work - lots of pinches and hairs getting caught in things and parts falling off on the floor - ha ha.

I have been avoiding the pump, because I have read that makes length gains more difficult.

I had to quit the extender for the exact same reason LOL! Thanks for sharing that made me laugh. If it’s not a high quality ADS (All Day Stretcher) I’ll leave it alone. I’ve always seen big gainers use the ADS as a follow up to hanging to keep the unit in its elongated state. Great job taking the time to take breaks every 20m to eliminate tissue death. BUT, RECIRCULATION IS MANDATORY AFTER EVERY TIME. This will support gains.

It’s hard to say whether a 3/8 expansion equals 1/8 gain. The best way to track gains is to do a natural state erect measure in the morning or at best EQ (erection quality).

I recommend developing a routine and specific times/or amount of times per week you can commit to until you see gains.

My current length + girth support routine is:

Manual Stretch 20m
Hand Clamp 5m (medium pressure girth support)
Dry Jelq using Jelq tool 10m (recirculation)

5 times a week.
It’s been working really well I believe and I’ll be measuring once a month. I expect 1/8 inch every month with consistency. I strongly believe I can be over 8 inches long and 5.75 round by April if I do not damage the unit and if I’m consistent.

I believe it’s true that heavy girth work expands the tunica in a way that MAY stunt or slow length gains. Bigger always said length first but he allows us to do 10m of recirculating following the length work which will in fact support girth; but that recirculating should never turn into a heavy girth workout.

There are some really good pinned forums on here about hanging, pumping, clamping, hand stretching, ADS, measuring properly. Currently I use a stick to measure. I’ll press the stick against my pubic bone and mark the stick with a pen. Then measure the mark. Much easier than trying to fiddle with a measuring tape and a hard dick, especially if you’re a little clumsy like you say. You and I are a lot alike so far and we both have drive. You can do this man! Keep posting your progress I’ll be keeping an eye. You’re in the right place.

Thanks for the encouragement. Yeah, I guess it is like the tortoise and the hare. I will just keep plodding along and hopefully see some noticeable gains in time.

BPFSL is normally considered to be an indicator of potential BPEL gains. There’s no direct - or at least, not consistent - relationship between flaccid stretched length and erect length.

Thanks, that’s what I recall reading. I guess I was hoping it might be a way for me to track progress more precisely, because I have found that erect length varies considerably based on the intensity of the erection. By contrast, I seem to get very consistent measurements when using the pump at a fixed vacuum near the end of a session. Something like a 1/4 inch of progess would be impossible for me to notice when tracking erect length, because that varies so much each time.

In order to get consistent results, I usually measure with a cock ring since my EQ varies enough to make the measurements useless otherwise.

With the ring I’m probably longer than with 100% EQ, but I’m more interested in *relative* length - to last week, last month, etc. - than a specific number, in order to track progress.

Thanks, I hadn’t thought of that. That sounds similar to what I am trying to do with the penis pump. Like you, I have noticed that my erection varies a lot.
