Does using too much force initially in stretching hinder future gains?

Does using too much force initially in stretching hinder future gains?

I’ve read somewhere that when using an extender or when hanging, one should apply as little force as possible — starting from 600 gram force, then gradually increase the tension until gains stop, and only then increase the tension. Once you go above a certain tension force (for an long period of time), then you will never be able to gain with that tension force lower than that.
Is this true?

I’ve made the error of using excessive force. I tried to approach PE that way, and of course I couldn’t make any gains. Now I fear extenders and ADS systems might not work anymore for me, because they can provide much less force than what I used earlier. After a decon break I’ve actually used an extender and an ADS for a new hundred hours, and I haven’t seen gains. Did I make an irreversible mistake when I stretched with excessive force?

No don worry.
A lot of people started like you and then with LOW tensions they gained.
If your Pis are good enough… then you do not need a decon break because the decon will be happening with the low force anyway.

Do not use HIGH tensions again because as you already saw… its not effective and its dangerous too.
