This flush feeling, is it a nice or bad feeling? Also, you have to learn to avoid tightening your anal muscles, if you practice long enough and concentrate you should be able to seperate it. The best way to isolate it is by laying down in a quiet room and REALLY slowly squeezing your muscle, and then very slowly unsqueeze it. After this, you should find it easier to kegel for that session.
