Hello all,

Been wondering about this thing for quite some time now and decided to check with you guys if this sounds familiar.

When I do my current routine, warmup, stretching and jelqing, this will take around 50-60 minutes. For warmup around 15 minutes, 20 minutes of stretching and 20 minutes of jelqing. Based on advice of multiple forum people I will add edging, usually 20-30 minutes. During jelqing I kegel as well, in those 20 minutes I will throw in 60-80 kegels. During edging I will add some more kegels but at this time I will do a reversed kegel for every kegel. I think 10 kegels and 10 reversed kegels will be done then. Usually the kegels and reversed kegels will be done when I am close the PONR.

Now, when I do this and at the end of the session I decide to ejaculate (if I don’t it will bother me for the rest of the day and the next day, uncomfortable feeling in groin area) it kind of falls out of my dick instead of shooting out like it usually does.

Can someone explain to me why this happens? Is it because the “shooting muscle” is fatigued? I am thinking that’s it because if I do not do the routine, just edge for an hour and then ejaculate it will shoot out with more force that a normal ejaculation.

I want to figure this out because maybe it wise to not edge after my routine and just do edging the next day for example.

Curious to hear what your thoughts are and/or if you have experienced the same thing.

Anyway, I am no expert, but based on my experience and wikipedia (there are a fair number of good penis anatomy and function articles) I would say that you are experiencing some kegel muscle fatigue.

You have already done the simple test to edge without kegels and edge with kegels and see how the ejaculations after are affected. The larger the number of tests, the better your conclusions will be.

Years ago I would invite my girlfriend over after an edging session and she would give me a handjob ending with a cumshot to her face. One of the first times she was so surprised by the blast that she yelled, “Contents under pressure!” If anything, edging increases ejaculation force.

The penis is not a muscle, but the kegel muscles are muscles, so as you train you will gain strength and endurance. Soon you will likely be able to do hundreds and hundreds of kegels without giving it a second thought, and still have enough power left over to ejaculate with your full force.

Regarding your routine, you have to figure out what works for you. Edging is good for blood flow which is necessary for healing and growth. And it keeps the tissues in an expanded state after a workout, so that also encourages growth.

There are many differing opinions about ejaculating, not ejaculating. Again you have to find what works for you.

Do some searches here if you have not already. There is a lot of information, but it is mostly not very organized.

Thanks for your reply and knowledge sharing, it definitely makes sense to me. Fact is that I am always a bit struggling with the kegels and reversed kegels on how to make them effectively part of my routine. Edging I want to keep of course, for all the reasons you mentioned because I experience that as well. But maybe I will stop doing the kegels during jelqing, keep them in during edging and see what happens. I can also do kegels the next day, as a separate routine. Or, is the fatigue a good sign? That was the next thing I was wondering about, so I notice the fatigue, ejaculation is weak after the complete routine, but is that a good thing or a bad thing?

Some mild fatigue is good. Extreme fatigue is not good. Pain is bad.
