Erect Pumping With No Gauge?

Erect Pumping With No Gauge?

Yeah, I know this is frowned upon but I can’t really do anything about it for now.

I foolishly purchased a cheap pump from Vetiry which, to be fair, seems to work fine but has a ruler instead of a gauge. My question is, what length difference should I expect when pumping at the conventional 5HG (or whatever works) if I’m going in fully erect?

I’m assuming it’s different for everyone as always, but I just want know regardless. I’ve heard that people are able to judge by feeling once they get used to it. If it helps, my BPEL is around 17cm and I had been doing manual exercises for more than 2 years.

If you are going in fully erect I wouldn’t be surprised for you to see a .25” or more length increase comparing when you first enter the cylinder to when you finish your session.

Now, how can you judge the vaccum by feel if you don’t know what 5hg feels like?

If you decide that pumping is for you, plan to invest in a pump with a guage. I would recommend a LeLuv setup.

Also use our selecting your cylinder size thread to get the correct cylinder.

The primary goal of PE should be to make your penis as healthy as possible in both form and function. If you do that, increased size will follow.

I’ve been pumping for years and I cannot tell with any accuracy what the vacuum level is unless I check the gauge. I can tell when it is “too much” and when it is leaking down, but I would not be able to tell within a couple of inHg what the true gauge reading is.

Initial: 7” BPEL; 6” NBPEL; 5.25” - 5.5” MEG

Current: 7-7/8” BPEL; 7-3/8” NBPEL; 8.5” BPFSL; 6.5” MEG; 6”x5” Flaccid.

Goal: Improved/consistent EQ while managing ED. Secondary: maintain current stats.

Assuming that you understand how dangerous this is. I pump with a gauge and when I feel stinging in the glans and frenulum, I know that’s too much pressure. Although I have a gauge, I sometimes do kegels when pumping, somehow it increases the pressure.

Start: BPEL: 7” MSEG: 5" | Current: BPEL: 8.25” MSEG: 5.75" | Goal: BPEL: 8.5” MSEG: 6"

1st Goal: 7.5" x 5.5" | Achieved: 01/15/2021 | 2nd Goal: 8.25 x 5.75 | Achieved: 05/19/2021

For me, 5 is just enough to hold the pressure and to maintain the erection. No, it’s not the end of the world if you don’t have a gauge. Maybe look at this as your low-pressure tool to use until you get one with a gauge or, if possible, add a gauge to this one.

Small update: I ended up getting a thinner pump with a gauge a while ago (start of 2022). Although I can’t really tell whether or not the gauge has had a positive effect on gains, I do like being able to quantify my exercises, trying out different people’s routines and making sure I’m not going over the recommended pressures and that my cock won’t explode. As I expected, the 5inHg was much lower than what I was used and honestly does not feel sufficient. As someone who’s been doing this for a fair amount of time, 5inHg for 10 mins (as recommended in Pumping 101) feels more like a minimum.
