Hi.. Embarrassed to post this, but this is something that has been affecting my everyday life.. I believe it may be “hard flaccid”.. It is depressing being 23 years old and not being confident in your sexual ability. I rarely get morning wood anymore, and if I do it is very very weak. My erections are weaker, libido less, and sensitivity is way lower than normal. I started noticing having this issue like a year and a half ago after masturbating really bad.. And ever since then erections have been hard to maintain.

The only time I noticed a significant improvement, to what I think was when it was not damaged at all, was 2 weeks ago. Orgasms, libido, and quality were back up to normal. This was going very well for about a week, even so when I was masturbating way too much. I didn’t want to to make sure it still was working (I have OCD).. But then I went squatting at the gym and did squats with very bad form imo.. With the bar and weights on each side. After that, I masturbated too, kinda poorly tho with like a 50% erection because my roommate got home and was in the living room coughing outside my door very harshly lol.. But the next day my ED was back to where it was.

Flaccid and erections smaller than normal. It has been two weeks and it is still like this. This is eating me up, and my obsessive thinking makes it hard to ignore this. I’m not having sex anyways right now so why should it matter? I am depressed though, oversleeping, and I am starstruck how in high school I was able to have no issues and now at only 23 still young I am struggling. I went to a urologist a few months back and they could find nothing wrong.. No peyronies so I don’t know whats going on. The fact that my erection was back to normal prior to the squat session tells me maybe it has something to do with pelvic floor? If anyone has any advice please I’m all ears

Cut back on your porn watching. Use heat throughout the day when possible and message your dick while doing so. Try stretching, massaging your dick after taking a piss and generally things of that nature that get blood going to the penis through the day when you can.

Alot of what you’re experiencing could be mental as well - don’t like it eat you up, take it as a temporary situation that you want to rectify proactively. Stress and anxiety in general are bad for health and can also effect how your penis functions so that could be part of what’s going on. This is especially true if alot of your stress and anxiety are coming from penis related issues.

Is your pelvic floor tight? Can you perform kegels and do them well for long holds? That would suggest a strong and possibly tight pelvic floor.

You could try adding reverse kegels into your day with the odd addition of normal kegels if in fact your pelvic floor is tight. (Doing reverse kegels helps balance your pelvic system, so if your pelvic floor is right doing reverse kegels is recommended but still do kegels as well just much less like 30 reps twice a week while doing 50 reps 5 days of week of reverse kegel - as an example).

I’ve been squatting for years and I’ve had a porn problem in the past. Squatting has never caused ED for me but over masturbation and porn have.

Any sort of extreme stress to the body may impact your erections. Squatting hard once might be alot and temp hurt your eq. Squatting over a lifetime prob makes it better and harder imo.

I went to a urologist for the first time ever earlier this year just to get a baseline of testosterone levels and psa etc. Well i was sore as hell from doing squats the day before and mentioned it and she told me that leg muscles use the same veins as my penis so doing weights and elliptical machine would be great for my long term erection health. Bought an elliptical the following week lmao.

Couple weeks off will at least allow you to eliminate that as the problem.. if it’s not the problem.

I think CNS fatigue can certainly lower EQ temporarily. Squatting heavy, any heavy lifting really, not only does it exhaust your nervous system it draws blood into your skeletal muscles. Your quads and hamstrings are also large muscles, so they draw a lot of blood.

Not anything to worry about. Maybe add half an hour of cardio on off days two or three times a week. Having regular sex is supposed to be good for PE, and your EQ goes down after you ejaculate. Same sort of principle here.

Go buy a 16 oz steak from the grocery store and cook it up with some onions. You’ll be fine. Second the porn though, that ratchets down the EQ like no other.
