Can you get growth from extending with only a single 1 hour set per day ?

I know there is evidence around extending and traction for 4-8 hours per day. I can only get a single hour in in the mornings. Just wondering if it will provide any benefit?

Current (11/26/2024) BPEL 7.7” x MSEG 5.125”. Goal BPEL 8.0” x MSEG 6.0”

As far as I know, gains with the extender are achieved after a certain number of usage hours. For example, if it takes 100 hours to gain the first centimeter, you could achieve this either by doing 10 hours a day for 10 days or 1 hour a day for 100 days. That said, wait for other responses to confirm, but personally, I believe it works that way.

Many people have reported gains with high tension extenders, which I will classify as 3kg+ tension, using them 30-60 mins per day. I cannot in any way vouch for the safety of extending at any tension above 1.6kg because that, as far as i recall, was the maximum tension used in traction studies.

For the past couple of years I have been using high tension extenders for shorter durations. I have also been using a pump. With the high tension I must take a break every 15 or 20 minutes, because I feel a stinging pain near the base. I usually do a few stretches and then start again. I probably average an hour per day extending, but the time including breaks is about two hours.

Lately I have been including pumping after extending. I spend 30 minutes pumping per day.

I gained a little, but my measurements are not very accurate. Best case, I gained 1/2 inch per year. Worst case, I gained 1/4 inch per year.

Some people have suggested using a heating pad, but I haven’t tried that yet.

LittleEngine hasn’t updated his progress thread in a while, but he went all-out on combining an extender with heat. He found a flexible USB heating pad that he wrapped around his extender, powered by a USB battery pack he carried in a pocket.

If you want to prolong the time, the best way is to reduce the sensitivity and operate through professional exercise techniques with suitable essential oils.
