Hi , so I watched some videos here on thunders about how to jelq (wet and dry) , in both videos I saw that the guys grip was so strong it looked like he really squeezes his cock , it looked a bit painful.

Is that the right way to jelq ??

I’m almost 2 months doing the Newbie routine and this whole time I was using a normal grip (not too tight but not loose at all) and was just sliding my ok grip through the penis until I reached the glans , I also hold my balls with my second hand while jelqing so they won’t move while I jelq , is it okay?

Is that how I supposed to do that or this whole time I was spending my time and doing everything wrong ?

It depends, people are doing (myself including) jelqs for many months and they still didn’t master the technique… what is more important we are all different and we perform things differently, that doesn’t mean one is correct, and other wrong.

While jelqing, the main goal is to push the blood and to feel blood moving from bottom of the shaft all the way up to the glans, some can achieve that with light grip, some with a bit stronger.

To really feel the movement and the difference, take 5-10 minutes and improvise with the grip, gradually and carefully, you shouldn’t have any problems with stronger grip as long as you are semi erected, just make sure you do not go too strong with harder erection level, and, very important, do not jelq with maximum erection.

You need to feel that blood moving, but as well there shouldn’t be any pain, at all.

That question you are the only one which can answer it.

But you should at least feel your dick while jelqing that your shaft is being expanded and especially your dick’s head(Glans) while jelqing and stopping before the Glans.

I think that grip and intensity vary. My jelq Stokes on month 1 vs today are totally different. A sort of ‘intelligence’ has developed in my grip, stroke, knowledge of tissue conditions, how much engorgement there is…all stuff that I was totally oblivious to day one.

The guy in the video jelqs liek a fucking champ. It’s like watching a person very experienced at something do something, like deadlift, swing a golf club, play guitar, and wonder why yours doesn’t looks the same.
