Flaccid - Erect

Can someone who has less flaccid length and girth than another person , has more erect length and girth than the other person?

If I understand your question correctly, yes, absolutely.

I learned the terms here, there seem to be “growers” and “showers”.

Growers are small when not erect, and can grow a huge amount to an erection.

Showers have full flaccid penises, and grow much less to attain an erection.

For example, my flaccid can often be about the length and thickness of my thumb, say about 2.5-3 inches long, but two nights ago I measured in bone pressed erect at a hair under 8 inches, with 5.5 inches girth.

You absolutely cannot judge a dick by looking at it flaccid, but do keep in mind that penises do not get smaller than flaccid when they get erect.

It is possible but the likeness is very rare, their is only so much the body can naturally stretch up to with blood volume as pressure to enlarge from flaccid to erect.

You will usually find in length around a 2 inch gain from flaccid to erect. That’s why guys with 10 inch penis’s usually are around 7.5 to 8.5 flaccid.

These numbers are generalisations though, some may make a superb 3 inch gain from flaccid, but I suspect they would be in the minority.

Why do you ask?

Yes. The average penis increases in length from 150 - 200%. Some stay relatively the same size and others tend to grow more. There is a correlation between flacid length and increase in size. You can see it here:

The shorter the facid penis, the more it tends to grow. However, don’t be mistaken; growth of 200% with a 8cm penis will probably not out-grow a flacid penis that is already 12 cm flacid.

Of course there are extremes but if you see a guy with a 16cm flacid penis don’t halucinate that your 10cm flacid will out-grow it. This chance is quite small.

I would say the likelihood is quite common.

From the study mentioned above:

“The data indicates that during an erection, the average increase in penis size was 197.9%. However, for men whose flaccid penis measured 80 mm (3.1”) or less, the increase was 263.2%, compared to 165.3% for those greater than this length (p<0.0001). This principle is demonstrated in Figure 8, which reveals a strong negative correlation between flaccid length and the percent increase during an erection.”

Note the difference in growth between “growers” and “showers”, or the difference in percent growth between those with shorter flaccid and longer flaccid.

Many, many men gain more than 2 inches from flaccid to erect, especailly if you consider some cold weather turtling. I can personally EASILY grow over the 263% quoted in the study from a cold turtle to a full erection.

Please note that the AVERAGE length gain for the growers was 263%, meaning a gain of over 3 inches on AVERAGE, not a “superb” gain as lightbringer suggests.

So if you are all turtled up at 3 inches, don’t be intimidated by a guy flapping a 5 inch non turtled flaccid around. If you use the the AVERAGE numbers from this study, that might make you 7.9 inches, and him 8.25 inches, both very large erect penises. Then all it takes is for him to have a slightly less than average gain percent, or you a slightly greater gain percent from average, and you are equal or bigger than him.

A penis survey based on flaccid size?? How ridiculous, lets have a survey based on personal wealth and eye color. My flaccid size is that of a thimble (and a small thimble, at that), I am at about 8 x 6 erect, I know I am not a small minority. The guy with a 10incher, however, is on a very small island with no inhabitants. The flaccid is the literal box of chocolates, you just never know what the sandman bringth.

My cock is 4 inches long when I am soft but 8.5 inches when hard. I have stretched it to 9.5 inches in the tube , and my permanent length is now 8.5 inches and growing slightly. My original length wnen hard was 7 inches.

When I’m really cold, I can go from 1/2” to 6 1/2”. Thats 13x bigger.

But, my penis more than doubles in size in it’s normal flaccid which I would assume is around 3 inches.
