Hello PE friends!

I’m four weeks in to PE and yesterday when I updated my stats in the “Progress and picture” forum I felt insecure how to measure NBPFL and BPFL.
Should I hold my flaccid dick in my hand 90 deg. Out from the body and measure with a ruler or should I measure with a tape and let my dick hang?

Either way works. Use what ever method you can easily replicate.

For me, too hard to get it consistent if I am holding it up, so I just measure it hanging so to speak.

I used to do the ruler and hold my dick out at 90, but that was so inconsistent because I would turtle in that position. I’ve moved to using a tape measure and measure while hanging. I call it NBPFL-hang.

Yes and It’s also the hanging measure that’s interesting to know. Bad thing that I didn’t do it right when I measured my starting stats. My flaccid hang has improved allot in 6 weeks.

If you are looking to record progress I’d do it straight out horizontal like you do your erection.

That way the only variation will be how much you are turtled at the time and that will improve for you as you go.

If you measure straight down as it hangs then the variation will be where you measure to and from. Particularly hard deciding where it starts from your body. Also leaning over to look at the measurement will be another area for inconsistency.

But there is no right and wrong when it comes to measuring flaccid and it’s better to have any record than nothing.

I often hear people on here saying they regret not taking enough measurements when they first started. In time you will be grateful for measurements now because these 4 weeks will seem insignificant against a life long practice.

For measuring it hanging I just use my fingernail to mark the spot on the ruler where the tip of the glans is, that way I don’t need to lean.
