Advisable routine for someone with ~ 1 year of length experience (manuals, vacuum hanging and extending) but almost no experience with working girth? Bought a clamp but I’ve heard you’re supposed to work up to that. Not sure if my experience with length work alone has conditioned me well enough to start clamping now or if I need to start with a basic girth routine first.

I would start with a gradually more intense manual squeezing routine for a couple weeks before jumping right to clamping.

Hi,

as you’ve already been advised, clamping might be the best option for your situation, but it’s certainly one with the highest risk of injury. However, I’ve also heard of great girth gains by combining a Jelq session with a vacuum pump. You should try these methods before moving on to clamping.
