So I’ve had a bib hanger for 10 years or more and could never get it to fit due to my girth. Recently upon rediscovering PE I found vacuum hangers and bought one.

My starting stats are;
BPEL 7”
NBPEL 5 3/4”
Base Girth 6.5”
MEG 6”

I tried starting with 1.25lbs and felt nothing, went to 2.5, still not “stretch. When I went to 5lbs I could actually feel some stretch.

So I started 5lbs
Day 1 10 min
Day 2 20min
Day 3 20 on 10 off 10 on
Day 4 20 on 20 off 20 on
Day 5 45on
Day 6 rest
Day 7 rest

I really was just listening to my penis and how it felt, any pain and I’d stop and jelq or edge to get blood flowing again and give him a rest

On day 6 the wife decided she wanted to play with JR and afterwards told me I felt thinner than before.

The ladies have always loved the girth of my cock and that’s something the wife is scared I’m going to lose on my quest to get over 8” BPEL.

I’m of the current belief I could regain that girth later but how long are we talking here,months, years?

Anyone else have any similar experiences?

I’ve never lost any girth from compression hanging. I suppose the compression could temporarily cause a deformation, but my experience is I’m usually temporarily fuller after hanging or extender session.

Did it seem less girthy to you as well? Did you measure? I’d say a measurement is probably more useful than the subjective concern, at least to confirm your wife’s subjective experience. It might be reassuring to you both.

If there is some diminished EQ from your hanging that could temporarily be a factor in the girth you attain while erect. That might resolve after you’re more conditioned. You could also consider a cock ring during sex to help boost your erection quality during sex while this works itself out. I like wearing one during sex no matter my EQ. In one I’m ~10% harder, particularly in the glans and CS, and go up 1/4" or so in both dimensions, sometimes more in girth. My wife likes it, too, so you two might enjoy it even if you don’t need it.

If it turns out that you are actually measurably thinner from hanging and you want to keep going on length you might consider a short clamping or pumping session a few times a week to keep things full.

You can also consider vacuum hanging. If there is a loss of girth from compression rather than the elongation from hanging then a vacuum setup would be workaround since it pulls from the end of the penis and doesn’t rely on compression.

I’ve noticed that over training can temporarily reduce my size, and/or hurt my EQ. I wouldnt be overly concerned about a one time event.


Initial: 7” BPEL; 6” NBPEL; 5.25” - 5.5” MEG

Current: 7-7/8” BPEL; 7-3/8” NBPEL; 8.5” BPFSL; 6.5” MEG; 6”x5” Flaccid.

Goal: Improved/consistent EQ while managing ED. Secondary: maintain current stats.

Based on comments over the years, gains in length sometimes come at the expense of girth, but girth comes back over time.

No reason you can’t use clamping, jelquing, or pumping along with the compression hanger. If nothing else, a good pump session after your last hanging set would help flush a maximum amount of blood into your shaft to deal with any distress from the hanger.
