Hangers, stretchers or simple machines: to use or not to use

Hi Guy,

I’ve been in PE for almost a year now and I’d like to ask your opinions on using hangers and simple machines for PE. Most of the large gains I’ve seen are from people using them. Have you guys seen anyone with significant gains without the use of hangers and stretchers?

Always remember that 90% of your gains come from manual exercises. Some guys don’t gain whatsoever with devices and hangers. The most popular hanger is the BibHanger. Go search it up on google. They have their own website and the owner is a PE’er. He’ll tell you how to use it and stuff. It is very expensive.

Like I said, you’ll gain more from manual exercises than with devices :)

From what I’ve read most of the good gainers have hung at some point. Have you had gains using manual exercises only? How much have you gained so far btw?

I’m a bit apprehensive about hanging as it says that it has a large potential for injury.
