Hey all,

Just got my bib starter last week, and I think I may be having an issue. I’ve done PE on and off for years, but never got into hanging, so I’m a newbie here. I’ve read blink’s thread, read the forums on bibs website, and I can’t find precisely what I’m looking for.

My issue is this: following all the wrapping advice, set up tips etc, I’m still getting some deep purple/blue discoloring on the glans a short time into my first set. I’m only at 3 lbs, trying to take it slow with BTC. Using heat before and during the sets. I can’t get a 20 minute set in because the discoloration is worrying me. It doesn’t hurt, and it’s not COLD but cool.

Also, when I finish wrapping the head and circumcision scar area retracts to the edge of the wrap, almost looking like I have the beginnings of a foreskin. What could cause this?

Thoughts from any veteran hangers? Wrap problem? Tightening issue? Too much weight? Thanks

There will be a bit of discoloration and it will go a bit cold due to restricted blood flow. Though some things can make it worse. Make sure it follow the wrapping technique on bibs form as this is important, the way it spirals down. When the hanger is on correctly it should only move forward by about 1/4inch and no more. The hanger should not be at the glans as this makes it like a noose which will cut off more blood flow.

Also make sure there is no excess blood in the glans, this is hard to do on the first set at least I find it hard to do. Once you are wrapped and have the hanger on but not yet tightened, if you think there is still too much blood in the glans, push the hanger forward towards the glans and back to position again. Do this with your dick pointing up. This will force the blood out of your glans and gravity will help.

There is a bit of a learning curve here so be patient. Also make sure to stick with the 20minute limit for a set. Good luck.

Another thing I should have said. When I am hanging I always do two checks.

Press my finger into my glans to make sure it is not solid, there should be a bit of sponginess, this shows there is not too much blood.

Feel the skin between the hanger and my penis base to make sure it is a bit loose, this means I am not skin stretch and I am pulling the internals. There has to be some skin stretching at the start but you have to get past this stage to start getting the internals taking the stress of the weight.

Thanks scienceguy. I definitely paid attention to the squeezing out excess blood thing, and made sure to do it on every attempt. However, the amount of discoloration is still there. Same thing with the skin stretching. I can for sure tell a difference when attaching to the skin vs. The internals. I already have enough skin stretch from the jelqing, so I’m trying to avoid more at this point. What I’m wondering if I may be wrapping too tight, or tightening the hanger too much. Maybe lighten the weight for a while until I’m more conditioned to hanging? Where I’m at right now at 3 lbs I can feel a good stretch, but I wouldn’t classify it as fatigue (at least according to others’ description of it.)

Yeah don’t worry about fatigue, it’s just getting technique correct at this point. Maybe drop down to 2lb to get it working if you want.

Wrapping too tight can be an issue. Generally it is said to make the first two passes of the wrap loose and then get tighter as you go, it has to be a bit tight to prevent skin pinching. Every pass of the wrap it is best to pull the skin at the base of the penis so you can see the extra skin down there.

I hung upto 7.5 lbs with a home-made PIET.

Discontinued due to lack of time. I did experience cold glans / slight discoloration but it never turned too bad. But I always had a problem with slippage (probably for being uncut), I somehow managed to take care of that with baby powder and less wrapping. Maybe your discoloration was caused by attaching the contraption too tight. It has to be tight but not much painful. However slight discoloration and coldness is quite common.

You got that one right golfclub. Figured it out, I was just tightening the hanger way too much. Adjusted it, and no I’m able to hang a full set. Slight discoloration, but I think that’s inevitable. But now it’s not to the point where I’m worried about doing damage. Thanks for the help guys
