Hello chaps, I have noticed that my hardest non stimulated erections tend to occur in the morning. This morning I measured a 6.6” NBPL and a 7.2” BPEL.

But during the day time I sometimes struggle to get much over 6” NBPEL and even my BPEL tends to full short of 7”.

I’ve got the feeling I need to focus on EQ rather than increasing the mass of my penis at the moment, as being a grower I am very EQ dependent.

I think that is completely normal. First thing in the morning your body is releasing all sorts of chemicals to get you moving for the day and I believe that as the day winds down the opposite occurs as your body prepares for sleep. Therefore, EQ may dip in the evening.

I don’t know why but my morning woods look like the thinniest erection i get throughout the day.

Once our day starts, we tend to get moving around doing chores, head to work, drive, have meals and start to worry about stuff not related to sexual or sensual in nature. In the middle of the night and early morning, none of this is on the way and a person should easily achieve full erection.

The way we drown ourselves into non-sexual related activities, it naturally gets harder to reach peak erections as the day comes to the end.

I think your EQ is fine.

Testosterone levels naturally peak in the early morning (in younger men) so to find a better erection then is not surprising.


Heat + Time

I’m not sure it’s specific to the morning because I’ve also noticed a similar effect when I go for an afternoon nap and wake up afterwards. Perhaps it’s due to the rest of the body needing less blood in a sleeping state.

My morning wood tends to be the same as my erections throughout the day. Might just be different among others.

My morning wood is my most intense of the day. and some morning it not really there and others it wakes me from my sleep. my length measurement does change too. I think most men are the same. the temperature also has an affect.

My morning wood tends to be extremely rigid internally, but with none of the engorgement of softer outer tissues that tend to come with arousal. As another poster mentioned, this gives me a longer but slightly less girthy erection than usual, to the tune of an extra 1/4 inch or so. My wife absolutely loves the rock hardness.. Not to mention that my morning wood feels almost nothing so I can go all out as hard as I (she) wants for ages without worrying about finishing too soon.

To the OPs comment though, it is normal I think for morning wood to be somewhat longer than usual, but if you have as significant a disparity as you’re describing, then I would certainly focus primarily on EQ. Fortunately, from all I’ve read, it’s not one it the other. Though I’m a newbie with all this, all the reading I’ve done suggests that you can work on both simultaneously, add long as you recognize that there may be periods of weaker erections following certain routines.

Do you watch a lot of porn? Potentially your natural erection during the early mornings due to a hormonal routine your body goes through projects your greatest erection because it is mostly a physiological equation and not so much psychologically incorporated, therefore during the day when porn is used (mostly psychological) you aren’t getting the best EQ.

This is also another way that men find out their penis works just fine and it is simply bad EQ that they are dealing with. And mostly, due to porn.
