How can manual stretching routines even work

I though this back when I was doing PE years ago. You have extenders that work when used for very many hours every day with tension 1-3 kg. Then you have hanging done usually at least hour a day every day or almost with usually higher load than extender. Then those old manual routines where you have 5-10 mins of manual stretching and done like 4-5 times a week. How can that do anything but some newbie gains? So little time under tension compared to those devices.

I used to do manual stretchin short sessions many times a day for total 20-30min time under tension and used ads to keep it elongated. That gave me some minor gains after 6 month hanging journey.

IMO 6 months of any type of PE training isn’t very much time in relation to PE. Certainly not if you’re expecting any significant gain. PE isn’t easy, it’s a marathon not a sprint. You mention minor gains, exactly what is “minor” in measurement terms?

Hand stretching if done properly with enough tension / traction can yield results. Weight hanging and pumping can yield results. However if you can judiciously and consistently combine all three (aggressive hand stretching, weight hanging and pumping) over a span of 2 - 4 years you can generate a multi-inch gain.

Unfortunately PE for the vast majority of men is a compulsion and not a commitment. It’s like a New Years Eve resolution to go on a diet to lose weight. That’s exactly why all the PE forums are like a revolving door. I monitor and peruse several PE forums and without exception the number of members who remain active and you can trace back for more than 6 months is less than 10%. The same redundant questions are asked infinitum. My analogy of PE participants is like an elevator ride. Everyone gets on at the bottom floor, but very few make it to the top floor and achieve their true PE potential.

I gained like 0,5” from hanging 6 months and minor is about 0,2” with manuals and ads after that.

Point of this thread is more question those old manual routines and how the hell so much less work would give results when extending and hanging are done very much longer per day and even they some times do not give gains when plateaued.

I have done all three, hanging, violent hand stretching and pumping. Along with ads to heal elongated. I just could not gain anymore, penis had went too tough. Now I try different novel approach with low force and high heat. Building to high time undet tension and then slowly increasing force if needed. High force stretches can be counter productive to gains. Making biological responce to resist stretch.

I have this exact same thought. I don’t know how you can apply a nice even tension for long enough using your hands only, especially after you’ve made that initial newbie gain and things start to stall. Surely the light tension, low strain, longer session approach is healthier and safer when done correctly.

I also feel like I experienced what you are talking about, from going too hard and aggressive, to only experience more turtling, retraction, and stalling of gains (suspected toughening of tissue?)

I just feel like devices could make PE so much easier and more enjoyable when done correctly, rather than almost feeling like a chore when pulling on your penis and causing discomfort and pain on the skin.
This is another of my problems, that without some sort of device (maybe vacuum?) it is simply too uncomfortable, and actually painful to pull on my skin and not feel much of a stretch on the inner penis.

I don’t think we are saying the manual stuff is not useful. I think we are simply looking for what may be considered to be OPTIMAL. Opinions on the subject appreciated of course.
