How exactly does jelqing work

Forcing blood into the penis over weeks/months forces the capillaries to expand? Is this right? Have there been any medical studies to show this is possible? I’m guessing this means that, while jelqing, your penis should be expanded to a girth greater than it’s previously been. However, people said in another thread that this isn’t necessary. That’s why I’m curious as to how it actually works. Thanks.

I think this question is excellent, asked by a newbie. So many people just accept jelking as a beneficial exercise and never really think about what they are doing.

My thoughts on jelking: After you jelk, your dick is fuller, which is evidence that you have done “something” to it. But what? I think it forces blood into more tissue at once than normally would receive it. It creates a pressure in the tissue that can cause stretching and growth. I think that forcing blood into the flacid penis creates different pressure in different areas than the pressure created from an erection or erect clamping. It feels different, and this is why people experience gains from it, even if jelking at low erection levels. There is more to it than that, so I’ll let the scientific theorists here on thunders continue with their thoughts.
