How important is heating?

I wanted to start newbie routine but I always stopped doing it after a few days. Lately I figured out that my problem was heating. Somehow I hated it and I know I will never keep doing PE exercises if heating is mandatory. Now I’m on the routine without heating for 2 weeks, I even enjoy doing it. My question is, any of you gained noticeable size without adding heating to the routine? I know it has benefits but, are those benefits mostly for preventing injuries? Or does it affect gains dramatically?

Heating promotes blood flow and reduces the elasticity of tissue and ligaments which lead to more effective exercise. I gained my first inch in length without heat but had no girth gains. Once I added heat I made my girth gains and more length. So you can gain without heat, but heat improves the process. There are many ways to include heat, if you dont like one style, try another.

Initial: 7” BPEL; 6” NBPEL; 5.25” - 5.5” MEG

Current: 7-7/8” BPEL; 7-3/8” NBPEL; 8.5” BPFSL; 6.5” MEG; 6”x5” Flaccid.

Goal: Improved/consistent EQ while managing ED. Secondary: maintain current stats.

Pretty much this. There are a lot of different ways to heat yourself. Not sure what it is exactly that you don’t like about it but I would suggest using an alternative method. You can use water, a heating pad, a rice sock, a personal heater or my favorite an infrared lamp. I’m sure there are even more methods that I can’t think of at the moment.

Ultrasound is an advanced option but you should be more advanced and read through all of the numerous threads on those who use it and are paving the path. Surprisingly, you can get a decent ultrasound unit for $150 usd.

Now that sounds interesting. Going to have to do some research.

I had a few go’s at PE before I got on this site years ago and I didn’t gain a single thing… Fast forward a few years and I’ve just recorded my first gains after about 20 days of hands on PE in the shower. I’m sure you can gain without but why not add something that can only improve your exercises?

Oops, big error on my part. Heat INCREASES elasticity, not reduces. Heat allows you to stretch more. Some describe it as stretching out the balloon so it will fill up larger.

I think the problem is just one of temperature. Answer: reduce the temperature. Warmth is always beneficial. Even the fact that this is summer (78 F here) gives me better pumps than in winter when my house is 15 degrees coolor.

I use this IR heater:

I have a condition, I try to evade moisture so hot shower is not an option. Hot glass of water goes cold too fast and its messy. I don’t have a microwave for rice-sock method. IR heater seemed handy but it still bothers me, feels like drudgery. I don’t think its about laziness, I work out for 2 hours, 5-6 days in a week. I consider myself very active, home only means bedtime to me. I don’t know if this is about temperature but I keep this heater close enough almost touching my penis. To describe heat I can say I wouldn’t stand if it was a few more degrees. After 5 minutes I get sweaty all the way to the neck and this leads me having 3rd shower of the day (it’s summer and around 85 F here). You think I’m overdoing it? It is supposed to be very hot or just warm is enough?

Heat is absolutely essential for PE. First tried it out of necessity down in the basement in winter but is ALWAYS a part of my routine now and wish I used it years ago. I am using a $20 heating pad, sit on it 30m to warm up and keep it going while PE. I also wear a robe. Keep it is hot as you can. Yes I sweat but my routine is in the wee AM hours before the others are up but then I cool down and hit the shower after. US looks cool but too many cons for me. Heating pad is dead simple. Heat is not magic and will not give you 2” in a month however.

My sig line below has been the same for 15 years and I stand by it. I used to use ultrasound in a professional capacity, but vastly prefer IR for PE. The easier you can make the whole heating process the better.

All injuries happen from "too much", or "too much, too soon" or "doing the exercise incorrectly".

Heat makes the difference between gaining quickly or slowly for some guys, or between gaining slowly instead of not at all for others. The ideal penis size is 7.6" BPEL x 5.6" Mid Girth. Basics.... firegoat roll How to use the Search button for best results

For me heat has made a big difference. My workouts with heat always produce bigger and harder erections during and post-workout. I seem to recover faster and can do more frequent and longer workouts when heat is incorporated.

On the flip side, I get much more dark discoloration (unhealthy looking) during pump sessions and my erection quality suffers post-workout if I do not use heat. I never PE without some form of heat and warmup for my dick these days.

Another thing I have found is a 10 minute warmup and gentle stretch session just before sex, gives me bigger, harder erections during sex.

Do you prefer the IR heat bulbs sold at Home Depot or the LED IR panels with a bunch of small LEDs?

I have been using the large 250 watt IR bulb from Home Depot and really like it so far.

Heating pad is coming in the mail tomorrow. Gonna wrap my pump.

My IR lamp is at least 20 years old. It has a large 250W Philips bulb. We don’t have Home Depot here. Yes, not every country has them, shocking as that may seem.

I haven’t tried the LED panel type, but as they are made for the same purpose I expect they would work just as well. If someone has used those, please comment. Thanks.

Lol about Home Depot.

Yup, I have the Philips 250W as well, it get nice and warm.

I bought an IR LED panel, with dozens of mini LEDs for my Wife. It barely gets warm but the idea is that it penetrates to warm from the inside. I hope it helps with some of her ailments. I do not think it would be applicable to PE but I will search the forum more.
