How important is the rest day if no fatigue

How important is the rest day if no fatigue

Today will be my day 7 since starting the newbie routine. I had planned on resting on this day with no PE at all. However, I don’t feel any real fatigue after 6 days of the newbie routine. I CAN feel my ligs for the first time in my life, but it’s not really soreness, it’s just sort of a new feeling of just, I guess being aware of them there. There’s been no pain, or negative body feedback at all.

I’ve been sticking to a routine just once daily, so there’s always been 24 hours for my body to recover. With that in mind, is it really necessary to have a rest period at this point in time? If I’m not feeling fatigued, will doing the newbie stretch/jelq routine tonight, instead of resting, hinder progress?

I’m listening to my body, not my newbie desire to get huge - quick, and my body says “Go man, Go!”

Should I rest anyway?

I base my rest days on how my penis responds to exercise. If I jelq and it does not want to “pump up”, I rest.

PE for length: so her heart stops when she sees it. PE for girth: to get her heart started again!

One need only leave the surface of the planet to realize we are all one people.

Eroset,

It seems to me that general opinion among vets is 7 days a week is optimal. Having said that, it only applies to advanced PEers. Newbies should take things at a slower pace. Don’t get in too big a hurry as it could backfire on you.

Like your body says “Go man Go!”. But like beenthere said, only when you have a good amount of expierence and time for about say two weeks or a month then you can start to pick up the intensity because your penis is becoming used to the excersizes. This is what I did.

I usally take a rest day when I am extrememly fatigued around my penis area whether the sore ache is in the actual penis or more around the base or ballsack area. I know when I feel these feelings that my penis is in it’s healing stage. So I wait for the soreness to go away and then commence another session if I have the privacy and time. I don’t really have a set PE schedule it’s more like you said I just read my body and the fatigue/soreness factor is what tells me when I need to take a break. Also note I tend to feel the fatigue/soreness only after about 15 mintutes after I stop stretching so just because you ended a session and right away you don’t feel the soreness don’t fret to much…

In my little PE adventure I am very happy to report I just reached a consistent 6 inch flaccid hang today from tons of stretching the day before and got little more then 4-5 hours sleep. Of course I have been PE’ing for almost 4 months almost every day now with pretty intense stretching sessions for length only. My goal is a nice 8 inchs and then either I go for 9 or I start my jelqing,clamping,horse440s,ulis,etc for girth gains. Currently I’m at 7’6 to 7’8 BPEL I believe up from about 6.0 BPEL starting in febuary.

I’ll tell you one key at least for length gains in stretching is when you do your stretchs do them in various angles, expierment read what your body is telling you, and a big KEY I beleive is getting your body in the right position when you do a stretch, whether that is sitting on a chair, lying down on your bed, sitting on the ground, or standing up, etc. Another big key is you should take nice natural slow deep breaths inhale and exhale out of your nose and with your stomach area.

It takes a good amount of practice to read your body when you stretch and do deep slow breathing at the same time but when you start to get it, for some reason it allows you to do a far more effective stretch. The reason I can tell is I get more intense pulling sensations from the base of my penis where my dick comes out and I can litterely feel little electric like feelings and sparks as if microtears are happining in the ligs. It’s cool!

Also be very aware of using your concentration/focus mental abilitys on your ligs and inner penis around the base area when you stretch because this is where you need to concentrate on so you can read your feelings correctly so you know how to respond to the sensations you feel as you stretch. I swear it’s crazy but it’s kind of like Luke Skywalker using the “force” in Star Wars? When luke fires those torpedos at the exact moment he needed to blow up the death star I beleive (I’m not the biggest Star Wars fan, but the new movie looks great)…

Good luck, keep at PE, and make big gains!

Hey Eroset,

Going without a rest day is fine as long as your body can take it. If you have good positive indicators (longer flaccid hang, strong morning wood, etc) then I would say going 7 days won’t hurt. Just be sure to be aware of your condition and if you start to see a decrease in those indicators then take a day or two off.

I take no rest days at all. I do not do a real hard workout, however. I just do jelqs, ULIs and Horse 440s. Some days I do them a shorter time though.

Although this post was made yesterday, and I am sure you already made your decesion,
I would recommend taking two rest days, THEN moving up the intensity a notch,
if you think your body is ready.

(That is one heck of a run on sentence.)

When I was a beginner my body felt the same way you did. I felt the new feeling, and I took it as a feeling telling me to take a break — and I did. I growed substantially from it, over an inch within my first 2 months. I know you think your body is saying “GO man, go!” But in reality it is giving you a feeling you never felt before; take a step back, and see what he is trying to say first, at least for a day.

Good Luck.

Thanks for all the help everybody. I ended up not taking last night off. I began my warm-up thinking that I’d just do light stretches, and maybe half the normal jelqs at a less-intense level. However, after I got going with the stretches, they were really feeling good, so I ended up doing my whole newb routine.

I’ve decided I’ll take tonight off. I’m looking at this first month, really as conditioning for my unit in preparation for the real PE work later anyway. If I get gains from this conditioning process, that’s great! But I’ve gone 30 some-odd years without stretching and yanking on my dick everyday, taking one day off, if only as a precautionary measure, can’t hurt nearly as much as overtraining it.

I’ll listen to my body’s need for rest days in the future, I guess in the beginning, I’ll just stick to the plan and rest one day out of 7.

I think you shud take a break.when you workout ur muscles you stretch them and they grow in ur sleep

What are ur muscles?

Real men might not need rest, but tissues do.

Eroset,

I would recommend not going longer than 7 days before you give your tissues time to rest and heal. That is what the rest period does, it allows the microtearing you have done to heal in the longer length. It also allows for less chance of injury, you injure your penis you don’t get to exercise for awhile. Sorta defeats the purpose if you know what I mean.

Listen to the older vets here, they do know what they are talking about. Or at least 90% of them do ;) .
