How Long Does It Normally Take To Gain Girth?

Okay, so PM here. I’m wondering how long it normally takes to gain girth, because my length gains, seem to keep coming, and I MIGHT actually hit 9” BPEL come May. After that I’m planning to take a decon break, either 2 weeks or a month. And from there, change up my routine. I’d like to if possible put another inch to both my length and my girth from where I first started, not sure if it’ll be possible within a year or two, but we’ll see. If I hit 9” BPEL by May, I’m going to change up my routine majorly after the break, going from my current routine of 4-6 hours of hanging Mon-Sat, for one month, than a month spent dividing the hours between hanging and extending. (I’m kind of working with the theory that hanging improves BPFSL, while Extending improves BPEL.)

I’m thinking after that, I’ll change it to an hour or two of hanging a day, with clamping and pumping after. I’ll probably keep going until I hit the final goal of 10.25”X6.5”, but if I manage to add so much as an inch to each, I’ll be a THOROUGHLY happy chappie.

So, I guess I’m wondering how long will that likely take, and lastly how long should I try clamping and pumping for as a beginner? Any recommendations for what I should use, because I’ve read multiple times that a pump without a gauge is a BAD idea.

What’s your starting girth and have you gained any girth to date? If so, what was your routine that gave you that girth?

I’m sure others can chime in on recommended pumps. I forget where I got my pump from, I basically purchased one that 8X6Dreamer recommended and have had it up to this day. Best practice would be to definitely use a pump with a gauge.

Some might also say that exhausting gains from manual routines is best before moving on to gadgets, but at the end of the day we all feel our own way through it.

I pumped 20 minutes a session at 5 hg, twice a day for nine months plus one 45 minute session at 4 hg once a week before I started to see gains. But as they say, each guy responds differently.

You seem to gain length easily, so girth should come quicker than mine.

I’ve come to believe that gaining girth is a long, arduous journey involving plenty of luck. Scientifically documented, as can be found in several articles and studies around here, girth gains are the result of a combination of intense and/or prolonged trauma. I’ve personally noticed that older members here tend to gain girth easier, presumably because their tissue is weaker and easier to deform. You can honestly find some really extreme girth routines here I wouldn’t recommend.

I really think girth gains, more so than length, come from wrecking your dick just on the verge of completely destroying it. It’s a very fine line I’m too chicken to walk.

Don’t know, girth gains can be simple if you find something fitting. For example, i did 3+ months max erection jelqs and got nothing. But then tried pumping and even 2-5 minutes with 2-4HG while watching porno was enough to push it.

@LittleEngine I haven’t gained any girth to date, which is rather annoying. But part of why I want to work on it is the simple fact that while I’m longer than most by nature. (Clocking in at 8.25” while lying down, and 8.5” while standing at this point, whereas I started at 8” and 8.25”) My girth on the other hand, is NOTHING impressive, having always come in at a pitiful 5”. I’m too pudgy to properly measure my base girth, but even then, I’m pretty sure even flaccid it comes in at 5”, whereas the rest is only 4.25”. You should hopefully be able to tell why I’d like to add an inch to it though.

@dtwarren1942 Eh, I mean, part of my routine mentality has always been, “Long periods of time, under LOW tension.” Which may or may not explain the current growth rate.

Something else, I have to admit I do wonder about, is whether or not it’s possible to make the head grow, and keep the mushroom look.

Girth takes time and its a deliberate endeavor. I started like you, naturally long but comparatively thin. The newbie provided minor gains in girth but the real progress came from pumping for me. Most people reccomend reaching your length goals first since you stated you still want to grow there. The big thing I’m going to say is that if you’re pudgy as you mentioned then you are cheating yourself. Diet and exercise really accelerated my gains as I improved bloodflow and my ability to recover from workouts.

I will backpack on thick and just say nutrition diet and blood flow will affect girth more than length. Girth has to do with the tunica expanding and the CCs filling with blood. If your limiting your blood flow you may be limiting your expansion. Which also includes the rebuild process as blood brings the nutrients to the body parts that need recovery.

Look into your diet and cardio exercises. If you want to maximize on your time and be speedy your going to need all aspects of your life to come together.

I prefer speedy recovery as well and supplement my diet with animal stak and lots of water. Always worked for me in my physical training days and I am transferring the thought into this. I’m not endorsing their product or saying it’s good to take. Just saying I take it and it benefits me.
