Thundersplace Pe Database Statistical Analysis

Hi guys, I have been working on a statistical analysis of the PE Database available from Thunders in my spare time and I finally have version 1 ready to publish. I also attached modified version of the database that may provide some additional usefulness, along with the original data used to generate the studies below. My apologies for the formatting, I thought I was going to use tables and anchors to improve presentation but the forum settings don’t allow it as far as I can tell so I did the best I could.

METHODOLOGY

Data pertaining to penis sizes and penis enlargement was obtained and analyzed from the publicly available database of user-reported penis enlargement log entries at https://www.thundersplace.org on October 14, 2014. The anonymous nature of https://www.thundersplace.org provides little incentive for website users to intentionally falsify entries on a large scale, however an algorithm was adopted to increase the quality of the raw data prior to analysis. Website users were excluded from the study if the data they entered met any of the following criteria.

Excluded Users:
a) starting erect length (bone-pressed) of greater than 11 inches
b) starting erect length (bone-pressed) of less than 1.5 inches
c) ending erect length (bone-pressed) of greater than 13 inches
d) ending erect length (bone-pressed) of less than 2 inches
e) starting midsection erect girth of greater than 8.5 inches
f) starting midsection erect girth of less than 1.5 inches
g) ending midsection erect girth of greater than 8.5 inches
h) ending midsection erect girth of less than 1.5 inches
i) OVERALL LENGTH LOSS REPORTED
j) OVERALL GIRTH LOSS REPORTED
k) LENGTH GAIN OF GREATER THAN 5.5 INCHES
l) GIRTH GAIN OF GREATER THAN 3.5 INCHES
m) LESS THAN 3 THUNDERSPLACE LOG ENTRIES (FOR ALL STUDIES UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED)

Exclusion (m) should be quite effective in improving data quality, based on the premise a user goofing around with the log entry system or entering an intial false entry is not likely to enter 3 or more entries. Exclusion (m) could not be applied in every study and is noted where it was not applied.

* All length measurements are bone-pressed. All girth measurements are at midsection.

Penis Size, Pre-PE, By Percentile

User reported pre-PE penis sizes correlate well with other penis size studies. As penis size varies based on race, ethnicity, erection quality and possibly other factors only studies within these groups will correlate extremely closely. Thundersplace.org data encompasses a wide variety of penises from all over the globe. Erection quality would be expected to be higher than studies done by Doctors or Nurses. Also, Thundersplace users would be more likely to have knowledge of PE already and possibly already have some PE related growth, though this is likely nominal given the close correlation with other studies. These factors likely account for the minor differences in reported penis size from other studies.

Penis Size, Post-PE, By Percentile

Interestingly, while it is demonstrated that smaller starting sizes have more initial growth potential on average, comparing the bottom and top ten percentiles of the pre-PE and post-PE penis sizes appears to indicate greater growth potential in larger penises, which does line up with theories about the mechanisms of penis enlargement.

Initial Penis Size Increase Compared to Pre-PE Penis Size, Percentiles

This study indicates penises with smaller pre-PE size experience more initial growth. There are likely several mechanisms behind this however it is difficult to precisely examine the reasons.

Post-Initial Penis Size Increase Compared to Pre-PE Penis Size, Percentiles

It has been demonstrated that smaller starting penis size is correlated with a higher initial growth rate when starting PE. This study examines the potential relationship between pre-PE penis size and growth rate after so-called newbie gains are exhausted. Results do not appear to reliably indicate any advantage to the smaller penis size category with longer term PE. Overall pre and post PE sizes in a study above appear to indicate greater growth potential with larger pre-PE penis size.

PE Attrition Rate

61.9% of users submitting a single log entry on Thundersplace submitted only 1, indicating that even users initially motivated enough to register and add a log entry, never add another, likely a result of discontinuing or inconsistent PE activities.

PE Motivation Compared to Pre-Penis Size

Average number of log entries were calculated within various penis size ranges encompassing both length and girth for users who submitted 2 or more log entries, to examine a possible connection between PE motivation and pre-PE penis size where motivation is measured by number of log entries. Average log entries were 4 for all penis size groups except the largest. The largest penis size groups, penises with a Pre-PE length of 8.5-9.5 and/or Pre-PE girth of 6.0-7.0 averaged 3 log entries. This appears to indicate little difference in motivation based on penis size, with a slight drop on the larger end of the spectrum.

I am attaching a spreadsheet to this post containing modified versions of the Thundersplace PE database that may be easier for some users to use, for instance if you know how to sort by a particular column using Excel you can sort by length gain, girth gain, etc. The first spreadsheet tab is the original database I downloaded from Thundersplace containing data through Oct 14, 2014. The rest of the tabs are modified versions and filtered by excluding users based on exclusions (a)-(m) from the very top of this post to achieve higher quality data.

I know it’s a silly question, but I don’t understand this “percentile” view of the table. Is it dividing the whole group by 100 and regrouping in percentile units?
Like 1442/100 = 144 samples per unit?

Good point, I should have included an explanation about percentiles.

Merriam worded it best - a value on a scale of 100 that indicates the percent of a distribution that is equal to or below it.

Basically, if you had 1500 penises and you wanted to find the top 10th percentile by length, you would find the one penis of that 1500 that was larger than 1350 (1500-150) of the penises in that group.

This is a more useful metric than averages, because we are able to see distribution, this is why I have listed most things by percentile. You can see the distribution of penis lengths is skewed to the upside, meaning there is much more variability on the upside of the ‘typical’ penis that on the downside, which basically means relative to the typical or 50th percentile there are more long penises than very short ones. The 50th percentile is 6.25” (my starting size exactly, lol) and the 80th percentile is 7” while the 20th percentile is 5.75”. So we see the same number of penises distance from the median .5” less than median, but .75” more than median.

You see the exact opposite with girth. Girth distribution skews to the downside, the 50th percentile is 5” while the 80th percentile is 5.375” and the 20th percentile is 4.53”.

I plotted out some of your data to make it a little easier to read.
The results for days between log entries is pretty interesting. I don’t think I’ve seen anyone do any stats on that before.
