If you aren’t getting results, you might want to change the method you are using, or change the intensity of what you are doing.
- Are you consistent? It must be a daily commitment, I have discovered, if you just do it once or twice a week you might not get results. Slacking off for a month can hinder things. You have to be consistent.
- Intensity: Consider varying what you are doing: try gripping harder or gripping lighter. If you haven’t had any injuries, then it’s not likely that you are using too much intensity. perhaps you are using too little. Try jelqing with more intensity for a month, and see if anything happens. Then maybe try a month with less intensity, and see what happens.
- If it isn’t working, try something different! If jelqing just doesn’t work, try a different method: hanging or pumping, for example.
We all have to find what works for us, and sometimes that just takes trying different things out, until you hit upon what works for you. Try something for a month, maybe two, and be consistent so it has a chance of working. If it doesn’t work, it doesn’t work. don’t be afraid to try something else.
If you aren’t seeing some sort of change within two months, I would say move on to something else. Measure accurately so you can be sure. Or vary your technique, maybe you are gripping too hard, or too lighty, and so nothing is happening. You just have to experiment, until you hit upon what works for you.
