How many of you actually do the warm upwarm down

Just a quick question, but how many of you actually do warm up and warm down? I’m asking because I have a very limited time to PE in the shower. My problem is my family all knows me to take rather quick showers 10-20 min’s at the latest. Whenever I do PE, it can keep me in there for at least 40+ mins. It’s just too much time, so my question to you guys is how many of you guys DON’T do the warm ups/warm downs, and are still getting good solid gains? My predicament is I have a fear that if I don’t keep up with a warm up then it will give me only minimal results, but on the other hand I can’t achieve a full work out or PE several days in a row if I’m taking 40 min showers every day. I’m 18, so I feel that my dick is at its prime right now, do you guys think I’d be suspect to serious injury if I end up dropping the warm ups/downs? Also a rice sock is not an option

If you’re doing your whole routine in the shower, just go a little easy with the first few stretches and you should be fine. In any case, a warm up doesn’t need to take long. 5 minutes under running hot water is more than enough. 2-3 minutes would probably be just as good.

There’s no consensus on the matter of warming up and gains. Some people say that it plays a big role, some claim that warm ups are only useful for preventing injuries. Either way, at least some warm up is, in my opinion, a must. I’d guess 5 or so minutes would be just fine.

As for warming down - most people consider that practice useless, be it with hot or cold (some people consider cold warm downs a good idea after a very intense workout, due to the basic tissue properties).

Alright. I’m just asking because adding 10 minutes between a warm up/down + 10-20 mins of stretches/jelqing is already a 30-40 minute shower. That’s not including time to even bath myself I’m just seeing if they are essential because time is a factor.

Do you think that since all my workouts are in the shower just stretching with the hot water running down my package would be enough to do at least a moderate warm up?
It’s relieving to hear that most people find a warm down useless though. Do you or any other of you members believe that hot water helps achieve gains? Because I feel like my package would get a more complete fuller workout if I did the jelqs/stretches in the shower under hot water. This is all based off of my logic and I could be completely wrong, but in the case that it doesn’t then I’ll just proceed to doing my warm up/stretch in the shower then complete my jelq in the confines of my room where I have more time

Hi there i would say just get a jug or a big mug fill it up with hot water you could take it to your room and pe at night before you go to sleep mite make it easy for you.

I’m guessing you could warm up while stretching, just be sure to start lightly, as Serenity said.

I used to do my whole routine in the shower, under the hot water stream, but now find it too much of a hassle (currently I warm up in the shower, get out, do my stretching and jelqing while watching a movie and finally I go back and take my actual shower). In any case, constantly applying heat can’t be bad. It may have a great effect or none at all, but it can’t be bad for your gains. If you’re planning on doing your whole routine in the shower, you might as well do that. :)

I’ve not done many warmdowns, but I always do the starting warmups.

I do warm ups all the time. My warm downs are when I am resting in the pump with the hot wrap around the tube. I try to not touch my dick at all after a routine.

Some people swear by it, while others don’t. I very rarely warm up, but I’ve still managed solid gains in the ten months since I started. My reason for abandoning the warmup was the same as you: too little time and privacy. Good luck!

I can shower, wash my hair, and shave in under 5. I like long hot showers and find them to be very therapeutic. But I can get in/out quickly if I need to. Learn to hustle a bit and you have a 10-15 minute PE session every time you shower.

Oatmeal sock over here, but I usually don’t specifically warm-down. I just take a hot shower to get the oil I use for jelqing off.

Hot cloth here for warm up, and a hot shower for warm down. I’d have to say at the very least warm up is a must so you don’t injure yourself if you’re doing more high intensity or any kind or PE for that matter.


Current - 11 Mar 2013 - BPEL: 7.5in, EG: 5.7in, NBPEL 6.75in, FL 5in, FG 4.3in

Goal - BPEL 8.5in-9in, EG 6.5in

I use a heating pad since I need to do stealth PE. In the beginning I used a cloth in warm water, it worked but I wasn’t able to be consistent so I searched for an alternative.

Really happy with my heating pad. It’s really easy to use, you can even read something when heating up or down.
