How to make sure to press on the same spot when taking bone-pressed measurements

I have another measuring question. Do you do anything specific to make sure you’re pressing on the same spot during BP measurements? I find that if I put the ruler right along my penis the whole way, when I stretch (for BPFSL) then the ligaments come out and I can’t press the ruler into the ligaments.

So I need to touch the zero end of the ruler somewhere a little higher to allow the ligaments to come out. Does anyone know what I’m talking about and have any tips on this?

Ligs can be an issue for some guys and not for others. Find a spot that works, either slightly higher or slightly left or right. If you do need to move you need to make sure the ruler is level and parallel to your penis when you measure. In your second picture you show the 0 end slightly higher, but then you angle down to the glans, which is incorrect. If the zero end is 3/8” above the penis, then the glans end needs to be 3/8” above. You might try a couple of fingers between the ruler and the penis to keep the ruler level.

Similarly if you move the zero end 3/8” to the right of center, the glans end needs to be 3/8” to the right.

The key point for measurement is to be consistent. Use the same ruler and measure at the same spot pressing in the same amount of pressure.

Instead of moving your zero end of the ruler, you could cut a notch out of it so the ligs do not interfere.
