So I just started seriously doing PE a couple weeks ago. I do stretches and jelqing, I have a Bathmate and I made a Captain’s Wench (which is totally amazing) for hanging.

I feel like I am getting some results, but my dick is a turtling son of a bitch. I’ve always had a problem with turtling my entire life, but I’ve read that it should be avoided when possible.

I have tried traction wrapping with an Ace bandage, and it seems to stop the worst of it, but it still happens much more than I would like. I’m starting to think it may be a blood flow problem or something, although I have always had really good blood pressure. It never actually turtles “into” my body, but it shrinks like hell.

My main issue with wrapping is my glans is not very big. Also, I think I have grown some extra skin doing PE (I was using the Bathmate for a year before starting seriously at this stuff), so now it retracts and appears almost like I’m uncircumcised (although I am). So when I try to get the bandage wrapped under the glans, the glans still retracts because the girth of the shaft is actually a little bigger than the glans.

I read about trying to jelq some blood into the glans when applying the traction wrapping but I have not been successful doing that (although I think that would help, since the glans is wider when engorged compared to my shaft).

Anyone have a similar problem with turtling or any ideas what I should do?

I like the AB Silicone anti-turtle sleeve and I can cut it down to 2-1/2 to 3” length and put it just behind the glan and no turtle.

The sleeves come in like 6” lengths and I know some use the whole length but it is more of a pain doing it that way. If you want anti turtle you only need to sleeve 3” behind the glan and you are good to go.

Using this same silicone sleeve you may wanna try with only 1” piece and use it at the base, it’ll work like a large cockring, loose enough to be used all day and tight enough to keep the penis a little engorged and prevent turtling

Also, do you drink too many coffee?

For some people caffeine could lead to some penile contraction.

Yea as Lenny says, check your caffeine intake, it seriously reduces my flaccid size and also reduces my EG a bit for up to a day.

So I’m in trouble here, I take like 10 shots everyday.

This could be a big issue why I can’t stop turtling. It’s not terrible, but it does happen and gets to me. I drink at least two pots of coffee a day. Morning till night. Any suggestions on beating a caffeine addiction? I’ve tried and get such bad headaches that over the counter headache medication doesn’t cure. Does anyone know of any supplements or natural remedies to make a caffeine junkies transition much smoother?

I’m Italian and our coffee is famous all around the world, tastes great, matter of taste though.

Other than a strong will I have no idea how you could ever supply to not drinking coffee anymore. I stopped myself to do it, not because of PE reasons but because caffeine generally makes me feel bad. It was hard but I’m not drinking coffee anymore from at least 1 year, I feel a lot better and I also sleep a lot better.

Willingness from dedication, personally speaking. I was a heavy coffee drinker back around the period I’ve registered here.

Back them, everytime the itch for a coffee showed up, I just wrecked a full glass of water.

Caffein detox won’t be that much painful or delayful (like drugs or alcohol detox). If you set your mind to bail it and has a strong will, piece of cake. On the first days, plenty of water will help to flush down the leftovers of cafein from the system.

If you do search and find some supplement or remedy to speed up the process, don’t choose stimulants or herbs. Not a wise choice to replace one toxin over another.

And yeah I drink about a pot of coffee a day so that could have something to do with it as well. I also vape constantly (ex-smoker) although I’m not sure if nicotine has a similar effect. I can try to cut down the coffee but nicotine is not going anywhere.

Edit: oh also I could be overdoing it. Going to try to slow down a bit because the other night I had a black mark ring around the middle of my penis after pumping it a bunch of times (tried that out with my girlfriend). I think the ring was from when I was hanging with a simple sock/shoelace before I made the captain’s wench. It was hard to get an erection and I actually had to spend awhile “working it out” with some porn. Luckily it returned to normal but it was a bit scary.

Well, that’s a bit of bad news. I am a regular coffee drinker and was used to consume 5-6 cups per day a few years ago. And I noticed that my friend likes to turtle too. So there could be a link. It would be interesting to know if a reduction of coffee intake reduces the tendency to turtle or is, after a longstanding coffee drinking habit, the damage done - I mean the tendency to turtle has become permanent.

Anyhow, lately I reduced my coffee intake and afternoon onward I am going now for Green Tea. But in the morning I need my coffee.. Otherwise I will not function properly.

I’m new to PE.. But I would not recommend hanging and pumping at the same time.

1. They’re both counter intuitive to each other.. If your dick becomes wider it becomes more difficult to lengthen. A thin rubber band is easier to stretch than a thick rubber band.

2. Too much stress on your dick. My dick looked like it took a beating when I did both hanging and pumping. The mild discoloration caused from pumping seems to be permanent. I did pump using high pressure however.. I think this caused the discoloration. I put the pump down and stuck to hanging and seen great results in 3 months.

First work on length then work on girth.

Also my theory for anti-turtling is jerking off right after PE. I believe at an erect state, the blood fills in the newly formed/developing cells/tissues from PE.
Anti-turtling: either keep stretch for 30mins-1hour after PE by light tension/light weight or masturbation.

Also here’s some details of my gains.
Started 3/11/2019 - 5.75 BPEL
Current 6/14/2019 - 6.70 BPEL

Yes I gained almost an inch by hanging 2.5 lbs for 10 hours a week for 3 months. 30 minute sessions.. And I cannot wait to join the 7” club, but patience and time is the ultimate key.

5-6 cups of coffee per day is a lot.
I always drink about 2-3 cups "water decaffeinated coffee" per day.
One cup regular coffee: 85 mg of caffeine.
One cup decaffeinated coffee: between 8,6 mg Γ  13,9 mg of caffeine.
One cup green tea: 30–50 mg

My experience with turtling is that I get it after doing too much work to my dick. You list jelquing, stretching, pumping with a Bathmate, and also hanging. Sounds like way too much to me. We don’t know how much you are doing of any of these things, but I bet you are overdoing it. More isn’t better, it’s just more. Coffee and caffeine? If you can see a cause and effect relationship, then you can adjust accordingly. Myself, coffee has never caused turtling. I had three cups so far this morning, and just measured my flaccid hang before posting this, and I’m hanging at six inches. That’s as long as my BPEL was when I started doing all this stuff. I think maybe I’ll have another cup! My suggestion is cut back on your workout time, drop hanging altogether, and try to make sure you edge for twenty minutes post workout. A stressed out dick won’t grow. Don’t torture that thing into submission. It will only retreat.
