Hydromax Bathmate Help

Hydromax Bathmate Help

Hi Everyone!

I just wanted to say hi and maybe ask a question. I’m new to PE. I just started using the bathmate Hercules about 3 weeks ago (it’ll be 3 weeks this Friday). I’ve been doing some jelqing too and kegels. I’m 27 and healthy and my starting size is 5” erect and 4.5” girth so I’m about average length and below average girth.

The reason I started PE is because the last 3 women I was with said I was too small. The last one even said that oral was just not enough. That was about 5 years ago and I haven’t been with another woman since. Needless to say my confidence was shot. Not only that, but I was struggling, more than my peers, to get a good job and move out of my parents house. Long story short, I’m in a better place now. I’m in grad school and don’t live with my parents. I actually have friends too! After my bout with depression, which I’ve kicked, and I’m scared to say it, but I am happy with my life now (though I am still broke). I’m still having difficulty approaching women though and it has undoubtedly been because of previous experiences. It’s pretty much gotten to the point where I don’t think women view me as a “man” or someone who could be a sexual partner with anyone. So, I’m giving PE a try. I mean a real try.

I’ve been using the bathmate for 3 weeks now and I’ve noticed that there isn’t much change after using the pump (I wasn’t expecting life changing results after 3 weeks). In the beginning, there was a clear difference between before and after. Unfortunately, for the last 3 days my penis kind of just looks like it would after a hot shower. I even measured it after using the pump and my penis is the same measurements when erect.

I’m uncircumcised and I also noticed that the head of my penis is practically the same size and the “girth” difference is in my foreskin. Is that normal? I get that blood will go to my foreskin as well, but shouldn’t the glans be getting bigger too? Also, is mild soreness a thing towards the base of the shaft (specifically the underside, but also all around) normal? It’s not unbearable or even annoying. I’d equate to muscle soreness after a workout at the gym.

I normally leave it on for 15 minutes. I start with my penis semi erect and then pump until I’m about halfway between the 5.5” and 6” mark. After 5 minutes I go to the 6” mark and after 10 minutes I max out at 6.5” (can’t really pump past this). After 15 minutes I take it off and jelq for 10 minutes. In the beginning there was a noticeable difference and it lasted almost all night (I do it around 6 or 7pm every day). Now it seems like it’s going back to normal after an hour. Has anyone ever experienced something like this? Am I doing something wrong or is this just not going to work? I hope it’s not the latter. Realistically, I’m just hoping to reach the 6 inch mark and maybe 5 inches in girth. If I get more then great, if not then whatever. I just want to be on the upper side of average. I understand that it can take up to a year or two, but I’d rather do it now than at 30. I’m just wondering what normal experiences are. I’ve read other threads, but haven’t found an answer to this specific phenomenon. Anyway, thank you for your help!

Hey Tom, good to hear that your life is looking up!

My suggestion would be not to use the bathmate if this is your introduction to PE.

Investigate the newbie routine

START HERE ——-> NEWBIE ROUTINE <——- Important Newbie Info

Linear Newbie Routine

In my personal experience with the bathmate it is capable of creating way too much pressure for someone who’s new to PE, and basically this means it could stop you from making gains in the future because you might toughen the tissue you’re trying to expand. I recommend doing the newbie routine for 6-12 months and try to be consistent with it. I made most of my gains with the newbie routine over the period of about a year and a half or two years. It’s a long haul kind of thing.

I used the bathmate briefly a month or two ago but even after doing PE for the better part of the year leading up to it, it was still creating significantly too much pressure for me when I tried to use it as the manufacturer recommends.

Remember take it slow and don’t rush. I don’t want to throw too much information at you all at once but this is another crucial thread on this site in my opinion: Physiologic Indicators (PIs) to help growth!

This will help you be conscious of when you might be doing too much and when you need to let your body rest. Good luck!

+1

I agree with the post above. Really make sure that you take it slow and pay attention to your PI’s. Read as much as you can and gain as much knowledge as possible before you rush into anything.

For the first 1.5 years of this I had the mindset that pushing myself as far and hard as possible would yield the best results. Even though all the vets said not to. I think we are naturally conditioned that way with school and work to continually push as hard as you can in order to be successful. This isn’t the case with PE.

Just now I am starting to see gains. I lost out on 1.5 years of getting ahead and only set myself back with injuries and extra long rest breaks to recover.

I would recommend running a program known as JP90 found on another PE site for the full 90 days. Prudent you incorporate kegels and reverse kegels into your routine as well.

I used the bathmate like you and didn’t get much out of 15 minutes. I tried for 20 minutes everyday and still nothing. After a month of not gaining I tried it for an hour, 1on/1off and made progress.

I wouldn’t recommend any pumping unless you are conditioned though. The only reason why I’m pumping now is because I don’t gain from Jelqs and stretches anymore.

If you still have your mind set on pumping, I would recommend stretching before your pump sessions, and pump inside the tub.

All you should be doing at this point is the newbie or some form of it put the damn bathmate away! Also read read READ get info before doing any new PE.

And fuck all those stupid girls for saying that! Seriously no one should put anyone down like that ever!

Hey guys! Thank you for all your responses. I really appreciate it. I’ve just got one more question. The reason I used the bathmate is because, I found jelqing to be difficult. I know you can still jelq if you’re uncircumcised, but even if I retract my foreskin fully I’m having trouble with the jelq because I just end up pushing all of skin up. Unless this is normal. What I’m saying is that I have to hold it back with one hand and jelq with the other and because of that I can’t start at the base because my hands in the way. I should probably mention that my foreskin is a bit larger than normal too. It can completely cover my head, while still erect so.. I don’t know. Maybe PE just won’t work for me and should just accept what I have. Anyway, thanks again guys. I do appreciate it, but maybe this is just one of those things I need to get over.

Why don’t you just get circumcised and take a one week break from it?

The bathmate is too powerful. It gave improvements at first and now its not because it is too much pressure. Condition with the newbie routine and add slowly to it. This shit works for everyone that is consistent and keeps at it.

Started 5.5 x 4.2 Feb 2015

Current 7.25 x 5.5 - 6.25 Base girth?

Goal 7.75 x 5.75?

Hi Tom,

Is my bathmate routine.
I do that every day, for me working.
5 min warming up, put erect penis in bathmate, pump middle pressure - 5 min, after that I do some massage or Jelq / I make 30-50 slowly/. Repeat 3 times.
I do that routine two times per day.
I also do newbie routines, I think combined give more powerful results. I have +2 cm girth gains for coupe months.
I was uncut too, but have some skin problems and last February I was circumcised.

Good luck.

You don’t need to do that.

I’ve got a foreskin, and have no problems jelqing. I don’t hold it back, I just let it do what it wants to do, which is cover most of the glans.

Just concentrate on Jelqing and Stretching in the Newbie Routine, and forget about your foreskin… You are over thinking things.

Good luck. :)

Thanks again everyone. I’ve decided to stick to the newbie routines for now and I’m putting down the bathmate; at least until I’ve conditioned. So maybe in six months time or something like that? I guess it depends on how I react to the newbie routine. :)

Also, it’s definitely a no on the circumcision - I’ll figure it out.
