Infrared Light Therapy

But was probably the worst time for this experiment since over the same period I’d been going through a lot and had major anxiety issues going on, to the point where I’d started anti-depressants not long after. I feel the hormone fluctuations will have been due to that stress, which is something well known to cause it apparently… So I’m afraid I have no conclusion on the effect of red light.

Start: 6" BPEL x 5" EG (mid)

Current: 7.5" BPEL x 5.98" EG (average distal/mid/base shaft)

Goal: 8" BPEL x 6.5" EG (whole shaft)

Also there’s an interesting insight from Solvay here cautioning against it: Solvay1927 - Why Near Infrared is better than FIR and US

Not sure if this is relevant but there’s a place in my town that rents out infrared saunas for $30 for half an hour. Gotta say that after using it, the next four-five hours I feel great and every single part of my body is relaxed. I was reading a thread last night about the importance of warming up before PE (which I haven’t done) and the posts reminded me of the too-infrequent visits to the infrared sauna. So last night I bought an inexpensive red light/infrared flashlight thingee on Amazon to use as a warm up before pumping. I have no clue whether this thing will be quality enough to actually do what it says, because you know; there’s a lot of crap being hawked online or even if it does produce infrared as advertised if it’s helpful warming everything deep enough. But I figure the off chance it does, it’s probably better than using a bulky heat pad or the rice sock method.

Apologies that I’ve strayed from the topic at hand a little.

Be happy to share any thoughts about my experience with it if y’all are interested.

I position it almost touching the tube or skin. It feels slightly warm, that’s all. The LED’s are fairly efficient and not much is lost as heat. The lamp has a large heat sink; neither the sink nor the face of the lamp get more than uncomfortably warm.

Good afternoon! Where did you buy it, can you share the name and brand of the product? I’m from Brasil.

I got it from eBay a couple of years ago. There were a dozen vendors selling the same lamp. It is a 54-watt round lamp with a grid of large LEDs on the front, with a finned aluminum heat dissipator. It doesn’t get more than warm to the touch.

The lamp screws into an American-style threaded light bulb socket. That’s generally known as an "E26" socket. The "26" is the base size in millimeters. They will generally work in an Asian-style E27 socket. Tolerances are loose enough you can sometimes screw an E27 lamp into an E26 socket.

When buying screw-in lamps from foreign sources, you need to know if they’re compatible with what your country uses. I have no idea what the standard is in Brazil. My lamp is screwed into an articulated desk lamp fixture attached to a shelf; I can move it around and change the angle as needed to hit the right spot.

I have a very very high quality red light system. I’m on trt and for years my balls were shrunk, anyways by complete accident they are back to egg sized. My wife is loving the giant loads and balls swinging around
