I am by no means a scientist, but as I understand it the first thing you need to understand is the difference between red light, near infrared and far infrared. The wave lengths and conclusions you cite are for red light and NIR. And, yes, there does appear to be a good benefit to red light combined with that NIR wave length. I have no doubt it may be beneficial as well to testicular and related functions, and the issue then is how to apply. There are clinics that have high end units that will allow you a 20 minute session for about $50 a pop. But there are also many home options, both for the panel type arrays and for flexible pads. I have a flexible option that I wrap around my pump tube. I am presently using a regular heat pad for 20-30 minutes or more, with a break for massage, then followed by 20 minutes with red light NIR. The internal “heat” feels remarkable. I then go directly to an ADS traction device, the theory being one wants to be under strain while cooling. The wave lengths do penetrate the clear tube. Of late I have been noticing improved EQ and vascularity.
