Ingrown Hair Possibly?

I have had small bumps on the bottom side of my penis, around the shaft, from about the base to middle, for as long as I can remember. I believe that they are hair bumps, but maybe someone could clarify. They are better seen when I have an erection. I do grown some hair on the bottom of my penis and I shave them with a razor, along with my pubes. The other day I was messing with a particulary bigger bump, just to examine it, and I squeezed it to see if I felt any pain. It did’nt really hurt, but the next day it started hurting when it rubbed against anything. The bump was also swollen a little and red. After I got home from work, I took a look and it had what I would consider a whitehead, like a pimple. I popped it and it bled pretty good for 5 minutes. Afterwords I noticed their was a little hair poking out of it and I pulled that out and it started bleeding again. I was wondering what other people thought it might be and if anyone has ever had one, or if anyone has what I call “hair bumps”. Thanks

Yeah I think that’s an ingrown hair man, I have curly hair so I get those on my face once in a blue moon if I shave to close. If you have really curly hair down there or in general my suggestion would be not to shave so close if you do. Because then the hair will grow and curl until you get some red bump and we do what you did.

Did you read everything there?? That’s just a name for what you already know your cock looks like. My cock looks the same. It is a normal variation on normal penis appearance.

Saying that you have the “condition” of sebaceous prominence is similar to saying you have the “condition” of freckles on your face. Literally true in both cases, but misleading if it implies something medically dire or abnormal.

I know, thanks for the link. I ve always wondered what it was, not like it worries me or anything. I use to think that maybe I inherited some STD, lol. It’s good to know that alot of guys have it. I just got worried when one bump turned into a pimple. It is healing now though.

It’s not that noticeable until the onset of puberty when all hell breaks loose.
What ever you do, do not ever try and remove one of those bumps again. Intense pain should and will follow.
The best treatment I ever found for it was to regularly swath your whole unit in maiden oil several times a week.
