Is 30 minutes stretching and 400 jelqs good for a beginner?

I was wondering if I was overdoing it since I want to make gains but don’t want to burn out.

Is your Dick showing negative or positive indicators? Things like red spots, pain or anything else?

I’m still pretty new myself but from what I read our dicks all need highly individualized performance improvement plans.

30 minutes are too much for a beginner. Follow the newbie routine.
Do 10 minutes and no more at the beginning.

The routines are on here for a reason, why deviate from them?


My progress Start: c. 5" NBP x 5.5 MEG

Aug 21: 5.9" NBP x 5.7 MEG

Nov 21: 6.5” NBP GOAL: 7" NBP

Way too much, slow down by a lot too.

30 mins is too much for a 1 year member as well. Im jelqing 30-35 mins and 12 mins stretching since the start of the newbie routine for 10 months now and im still gaining very good so 30 mins stretching seems unnecessary. Begin at 5 mins stretching 5 jelq and do 5 mins extra every week and stop stretching time at 10-12 mins.

Stretching in combination with jelqing helps but 12 min or 30 min is no difference I tried it and it doenst work for better gains.

Final goal: 7 inch

Ive cut down from 400 jelqs to 200 during this past week and it has been pretty convenient, but I do get your point. The newbie routine says to “Gradually increase to 10 min total of stretches and 30 min of jelqing over about 6 weeks time.” and that 10 minutes of jelqing takes two hundred 3-second strokes, following this logic if it takes 10 minutes to do 200 jelqs, then increasing that 10 minutes to 30 means that it only makes sense to increase to 600 jelqs since we are tripling the time. Because of this I admit I am confused as far as the exact number or jelqs a beginner is supposed to do, that’s why I have decided to guesstimate to just the 200.

What I find with regards to jelqing is that it’s much harder to give general advice than with stretching. That’s because the intensity matters more - for example I only jelq for about 8 minutes, but those are intense jelqs and I tend to get red spots underneath the glans each time. If I continued any longer, the effect would probably be the same but I’d put my dick under undue stress (my EQ would also suffer). So if you’re jelqing with low to medium intensity by all means go up to 20-30 minutes over time, but this advice doesn’t apply to those who either get a stronger response to jelqing or use a higher intensity.

When I started out I went up to 30 minutes and would get the donut effect each time and couldn’t get fully hard during sex.
