Is fluctuation in EQ normal during PE

I’ve been at it since January 2009. For the most part, PE has helped my EQ a lot since I started, but I am a little unsure about my EQ the past two days. For the past week or so my EQ has been really great. My flaccid felt fuller and firmer. My EQ seemed to be rock hard. But yesterday, as well as today, my EQ isn’t nearly as good as it was and I’m wondering why.

My routine consists mainly of jelqing, manual clamping, and a little bit of manual stretching. I usually do 3 days on, 1 day off. I’ve got no negative PI’s to speak of aside from the fact that my EQ isn’t as hard as it has been lately. It’s just that it seems so sudden, since for almost a week straight my EQ has been great, veins seem more visible, and my flaccid felt more firm. Maybe I am just being a little paranoid about this and thinking a little too much, but I was just wondering if something was wrong with me, or if change in EQ is a normal part of PE?

Have you been doing the manual clamping since the beginning or did you just start it? Do you do a modified newbie routine? Do you do warm-up and warm-down?

It could be related to lack of sleep or something like that. Or you could be over-working. We need more information on your workout history, intensity, etc.

I just started manual clamping about 2 weeks ago. I suppose my routine is pretty much a modified newbie routine, the only differences being that I recently started some manual clamping and I do a lot more jelqing than stretching. Warming up is the hardest part of PE for me being that I don’t live alone. I do it when I can, but most of the time, I admit, that I do not warm up.

That’s probably a big contributor to what you’re dealing with now. It makes sense if you just started clamping, and without warm up/down. Maybe your dick was fairly well conditioned and could handle it for a week, but it’s just too much. I know that without a warm up/down I will wake up to a smaller flaccid and a slim chance of morning wood the day after a PE session. I too found that not living alone made it really hard to warm up/down. But think of it like this, if you have a bathroom to yourself, it’s only 5 minutes in there. That’s not a lot of time to spend in a bathroom. You go out, do your PE wherever, and almost an hour later back in the bathroom for 5 minutes. Use the excuse you took a shit the first time, washed your face the second, or vice versa.

I find warm up/down is essential to my gains and keeping negative PIs away.

I would back off on the clamping entirely, and go back to the newbie routine. I’ve had to look into jelqing ONLY, because I think my unit is sensitive to manual stretching. We all have to listen to the PI’s and respond accordingly.

Also, I do my routine in the shower exclusively. Hot water, privacy and easy clean up are all pluses in the shower.
