Is it normal for erections to be smaller than normal after a PE session

I’m new to this. I signed up at TP about six months ago and did PE for a couple weeks, but then I got a job and was just too tired at night to do the routine. I did notice the same thing back then though. I re-started PEing a week ago with the newbie routine and my boners are already smaller. They went back to normal size shortly after I stopped PEing the first time, but I’m a little concerned.

Anyone else experience this?

Also, should we avoid getting boners on PE days? Should we avoid ejaculating in general whilst on a PE routine?

Your grip is to tight try a very soft grip and jelq slow. Are you warming up? You should get boners as much as possible their good for you and don’t let anybody tell you otherwise.

I concur with Kingpole. You are more than likely applying to much pressure when you are trying to jelq. Jelqing isn’t beating off ok, a slower pace is necessary.

Read or re read the newbie routine, plus maybe a couple of the other threads such as the linear routine. Remember, the newbie routine isn’t carved in stone, its offered as a guideline, adjust as needed for your particular needs. Your erection quality or EQ should not suffer as a result of PE, if anything it should improve. Check out my favorites and read the thread on Physiological Indicators to get a better idea. It is not necessary to forgo ejaculation or sex or any of that during your PE time, each person has his own beliefs on that subject.

PE is not a sprint, it is a marathon, it takes time and patience and dedication to see gains and then to keep gains. Good luck to you, please do reading and try to glean as much information as you can so that you don’t end up hurting yourself in the process of being over zealous.

If you notice that you don’t get morning/night wood as often or barely anymore, should you stop PE for a little while?. Even those random boners you get during the day seem to have all gone away.

It’s quite probable that you are overdoing the pressure when jelqing etc. As above, take a break for a week or so then when you restart, go a little easier on the prressure when doing the exercises

I don’t think I’m doing it too hard, but logically it seems like there won’t be girth gains unless there is some “inflation” towards the head during the motion. I’ll try slowing down a bit. 3 seconds per stroke maybe?
