1st question: I’ve read a whole bunch of threads about this, i’ve watched the videos, but i wanted a more precise portrait of how to go about doing standard jelqs, and what exactly it feels like to do it properly. I know i’m not supposed to be completely hard, but there’s this threshold wherein i get “hard.” I get hard, probably at around 70%, that’s the point where my penis starts to feel really solid… so much so that when i jelq it almost feels like i’m pressing against bone. When i jelq during that stage, i feel a “slight” pain… very slight, since i’m pressing against something relatively solid. Obviously, it feels much much different when i do it at around 50-60% when my penis is far more mushy so to speak. I’m just curious as to what would promote greater gains, or whether i should even be jelqing when i’m relatively hard at all.

2nd question: When i watch the video, the guy uses one hand to stroke up the penis, then RIGHT BEFORE he lets it go, he grabs the base of the penis with his other hand, and pushes up ad infinitum. For the longest time, i let go of the penis, THEN immediately grab the base with the other hand. Naturally, the method before seems to engorge the penis MORE than the latter method. Was i doing it wrong all along. The former definitely seems slightly more uncomfortable as i feel like my penis is a balloon being filled with more air than usual.

That is the exact feeling you want. Just don’t do it so hard as to make it uncomfortable. Use enough pressure so it still feels good.

Yup, I make my ‘o’ grip with my fingers as tight as possible, but not so tight I cut off circulation.

Just like Gprent said you want to feel as if your dick is ballooning up, that’s really the whole point of the exercise. Just go slow with your strokes,take your time with each one. I’m guessing your just starting out so most of what you do will just be learning and mastering the exercises.

You were doing it wrong. You need to keep the blood in so before you release one hand the other should already have a grip at the base.

You’ll get used to the ballooning feeling and will soon strive for it.

Hey. I have a similar question. Like.When I do it I grab at the base, and pull to up, holding just before the head. My head becomes a bit bigger, and tougher.

The thing is, though, I don’t have foreskin. When I pull up to the top I only get 1 more stroke in before I have to let go and start over. If I try another stroke I’d be pulling my testes up to my head. Anyone have suggestions on how to get around this?

Another question, a lot of times I read that you must stretch at 50-80 percent erection, or something, but usually I reach 100%, since apparently kegeling between stretches help. Is 100% okay for stretching? I’ve read that it affects girth more than length at 100%, and that’s a big of a problem since length is what I’m shooting for right now.

Go for 20-40% for length, 60-80% targets girth. Never go over the 80% the risks of injuries rise rapidly then.

This is my first post discovered p.e. About 6 months ago after looking on the Internet for impotence solutions

(I take strong medication which I think causes this although it may be phycological). I would give my starting measurements but can only manage about a 90% erection at that they are about 20cm(BP) by maybe 14.5cm.

I started doing p.e for about 3 months then stopped, it improved my erections and size but seemed to go ;I did no kegels. I then discovered this site which I immediately recognised as a good quality site ;the free ones are usually the best and am giving it another go. I am a newbie and am not sure whether this is the correct thread to post on but my reason for stopping p.e. Was that it seemed to effect the skin under my penis connecting to my scrotum my question is this; is this an inevitable consequence of jelqing and am I worrying for nothing;

Would appreciate any replies or advice.(p.s if this site cures my problem I will definitely be making a donation)

Daverstuvw, how did jelqing affect the (quote) “skin under my penis connecting to my scrotum”. This makes no sense to me. Please clarify what you mean and I’ll try to give you an answer.

The skin at the base of my penis seems to have become distended if my balls are tight it goes but otherwise it seems to have become loser. Not sure whether I’m imagining the problem as I might have become more aware of this since starting p.e. But I’m not sure. I was concerned enough to stop the last time I started.thanks for the reply.

Daverstuvw, jelqing can cause a little skin stretching; sometimes guys here talk about ‘turkey neck’ when the hair at the base of their shaft seems to be creeping up the shaft, but this is often actually because the skin growth hasn’t caught up with newbie shaft growth. With more jelqing this often goes the other way and causes very slight ‘foreskin restoration’ in the circumcised guys. Neither of these is a problem and neither looks un-natural; every penis is different in shape and amount of skin, so no-one is ever going to look at your dick and think you have been ‘doing something’ to it.

When they start PE many guys notice things about their penis and testicles they have never noticed before. I think what you are noticing may be something you have not noticed before.

Try this; gently stretch your flaccid penis upwards and look at the scrotal skin at the base of your shaft. Is what you are worried about the line of scrotal skin which forms an inverted ‘v’ - like a ‘ridge-tent’ which runs from the highest point of attachment on the under shaft down to your balls?

This is completely normal when your balls are not tight. Don’t worry about it. It is just something you have never noticed before because we tend to look at the top, not the underside of our penis :)

Hm. How am I supposed to jelq without an erection. And this question isn’t about getting erections from stimulation. It’s about the blood being forced into the head. I thought that’s what an erection was.

(I’m uncut and find stretching a bit of a pain in the arse as the foreskin gets in the way somewhat! But when I do stretch ‘straight down’ I can really feel it being stretched.)

A better idea would be to cut your jelqing into two parts, one for length, one for girth. So you for instance jelq for 20 minutes, jelq 10 minutes at 20-40% and the other 10 minutes you jelq at 60-80%. This is the most effective way to target both, jelq wise.

How much foreskin will return I was circumcised relatively short and never had foreskin until I started PEing. Now the gland on the bottom is covered and it’s a different sensation when wearing cloths. They used to rub and take sensations away now that it’s covered I have all kinds of sensations in my gland.
