Jelqing, shaft skin now hangs over head

Hi, I’ve been jelqing for about a month now, and have followed very closely the technique shown in the video. My question is this, is it normal for the shaft skin to hang over my head when it’s flaccid? Or is this a sign that I am doing something wrong. The dry jelq video shows pretty clearly that the skin goes over the glans. Thanks!

Hmm. So you mean after you are done jelqing, when you’re flaccid, the shaft skin covers your glans? How much does it go over?

I will check the dry jelq video to see what you are talking about. You might just have some extra skin, and when you jelq you are stretching your skin and not having a tight enough grip to really push the blood thus having an effect called turtling. Search it.

It sounds like you’ve accomplished a little unintentional foreskin recovery — good for you!

What exactly is turtling, I searched but couldn’t find a good definition. I’ve increased my flaccid length about .5 inches in maybe 2 months, but have yet to see erect gains. And my skin doesnt cover my whole head, but about half of it. I find if I do a lot of stretching while holding it back it has helped.

I think turtling is when your penis retreats, when it is cold, when it is over worked, I particularly notice it when I’m training especially cardio stuff.

Yeah. It’s when your dick pulls up into your body “like a frightened turtle” into it’s shell. All of the above can cause it. Also, as AndroNYC said, you might have a little bit of foreskin “recovery” going on, or it could just be a little swollen. Have you experienced any pain, discoloration, or loss of size? If not, I wouldn’t worry about it. Without circumcision, your glans would naturally have skin covering it anyway.
