Hey guys,

Pretty new here. I’m literally 5 days in.

My question is about jelqing with a hardon. Why shouldn’t we jelq with a hard on? I feel like my dick is about 90% - 100% hard when I jelq, but I’ve seen this is a bad thing to do now and don’t want to injure myself.

Surely there is more blood in the penis when it’s hard? Before I jelq I do 5 mins hot wrap and 15 mins stretching, followed by another 2 mins hot wrap and then I jelq.

Anyone who can educate me on the issues with jelqing hard or who has gained with a hard penis and jelq?

Too much pressure. The jelq is a dynamic motion making it harder to safely control pressures as erection levels move towards 100%. Also, increased erection levels decrease potential for elongation, so the forward motion of the jelq offers less value.

Clamping is an example of what happens to the jelq motion as the erection level hits 100%.

Understood. I definitely feel that there would be no elongation.

In this theory though, couldn’t it potentially help girth?

No. The tunica has to be flexible so it can stretch and expand while doing jelqs. That doesn’t work at all when you are hard. The best erection level when jelqing for girth is around 80%. Full but flexible.

So, jelqing erect is both dangerous and ineffective.


The primary goal of PE should be to make your penis as healthy as possible in both form and function. If you do that, increased size will follow.

Ah okay, this makes sense. I will try to reduce my erection. So it should be a good healthy semi, borderline hard?

Flexible is the word.


The primary goal of PE should be to make your penis as healthy as possible in both form and function. If you do that, increased size will follow.

Dude be careful. I’m new myself, first month. It seems jelqing with an erection is one of the most ignorant things to do in the whole of PE. I’ve heard of men injuring there penises badly from it to the point where it’s not functional for years on end. I’m not trying to scare you and I’m sure each body is different with handling stress but bevareful. Jelqing erect is very dangerous. I usually jelq at 20-40 percent and do it almost as a stretch. I get to nervous from the stories I have heard, truth or not. Be safe

I started allso on 09.09.19 and my stats are
BPEL-7.45 and Mseg-5,35. So we are allmost at the same starting point. And we begun at the same time. Well, I have done PE before, but like 3 weeks and stopped, for a year. No consistency. Now I’m motivated and seeing your stats and beginning date, I hope we can support each other and compare progress in what we are doing, and how it works. We can help, support and motivate eachother. I’m going to start a thread today or tomorrow, with training plan and weekly updates and documenting what I see working and what I don’t see working.

Thanks man, that’s really good to hear. I don’t want to do any damage at all and I’m applying looaaaaads of heat to make sure I’m as flexible as possible. I just get hard when I jelq. Maybe I’ll figure something else out.

I was getting hard my first week as well from the stimulation and excitement also but once I started looking at PE as a job to pleasure my girl more, it took out my own excitement. From my own experience I had more days where I had to watch porn for 5 minutes just to get it up, get the blood flowing, then wait a couple minutes to be at 30-40% erection level. Like anything, staying on a program for a long time will start getting tedious and boring and your mind isn’t gonna want to apply itself. These were the days I felt I had trouble getting hard.
