Hello!

I’ve been doing the newbie routine for about two weeks now, and have never been into PE before. I have read how I should progress jelqing and stretching, but what about the kegels? Now I do 50 kegels with 5 seconds hold - 7 seconds pause. After a while, should I take more reps, or just shorter pauses, or longer holds.. What do you think is best?

Any suggestions for what I should do after six weeks are welcome!:)

I kegel for 10 minutes, I don’t like to count. You might consider the same.

Seems more sensible to me to count Kegels in the beginning, adding 5 or so a day and make them short - not holding the clamp-down for longer than a second or two. That way you are not so likely to exhaust your muscle. Later, when the muscle is strong, begin to add some duration to your clamp-down.

I think you pause too much. 1 or 2 sec. pause is enaugh.

When you are comfortable doing kegels this way, increase the number of repititions. For example: 55 x 5 sec.

Gradually increase this way. You can easily do 100 x 5 sec. in a month or two if you practice like this everyday.

I do 150 x 5 sec. everyday.

I think you should always count, because you wouldn’t know whether you improved or not otherwise.

And you won’t be able to proceed according to the plan I mentioned above in that case, too.
