Kegels Or Edging First?

I’m trying to work on simply lasting longer - and I’ve learned from the forum that these two techniques and/or exercises both contribute to lasting longer in bed. I’m trying to develop a routine of the two that I could use to improve.

This leads me to wondering which of the two should I do first? Kegels or Edging? I’m relatively new to edging, growing up a young lad the overall goal was to just get off, being naive and unaware that is what now contributed to my problem and desire to lasting longer. I’ve heard that like working out, too much can be bad and lead to injury - so I’m trying to be conscious of how many Kegels I do every day to prevent injury or overworking of the muscle.

Information is certainly appreciated. Any routines you experienced members have for beginners would also be considered! Thank you all.

30 to 50 kegels every other day.

Rest is a must here since we are working out a muscle.

I would prefer to aprimorate the edging first. In time the penis will get used to constant stimulation without any loses in EQ.

Way ahead of edging and kegels is the mindset. Anxiety and depression being the worst situations.

Thank you! Also, is it bad that if ejaculation does occur while edging? Or should it be avoided at all costs? I would assume that progressively increasing the duration before each climax would be the overall goal but I’m just wondering.

The point is to not ejaculate at the end of the edging session. It really trains your mind to not view ejaculation as the end goal every time, which leads to better control in a real life sex situation. Yes progressively increase the duration is the one goal and the other is to walk away without finishing. Getting really close to climax but don’t, is a great way to learn the process and observe the stages. Over time this knowledge of how your body feels when you are really close to ejaculate, will help tremendously your control over the whole process.

That’s being said it’s not a bad thing if you ejaculate by accident when you are really clode to the point of no return. View the bigger picture, you learn this way.
And if you successfully walked away from an edging session many times then reward yourself with finishing.

The way I look at it is kegels is torque edging is horsepower. Kegels are going to effect the power of your orgasm plus help you hold back some, edging is going to help you go for timing. That being said one without the other throws everything off. In short, both are needed to be done to have the best well balanced life. Personally, I do a lot more edging because it feels better, and I need to change that mentality and do more kegels to equal it out.
