Length At Cost Of Girth

Does PE focused only on length cause a decrease in girth?

Say you’re hanging and doing BTCs and seeing gains. I’m concerned that girth will be lost and volume will stay the same.

To my experience, no.

Most likely you will gain girt if you gain length. Never herd of anyone losing girt when gaining length.

I was super concerned about that, so when I began stretching I kept very detailed and careful measurement logs, with a plan to abort at the first sign of girth loss.

Much to my surprise (and pleasure) my girth actually increased with nothing but extending.

But, since we’re all different, I recommend paying close attention as you begin to watch for unwanted effects.

I must say that I’m thrilled to hear positive feedback.

With Covid and kids at home and moving, I have not been able to do anything but kegels, BTCs and manual stretching.

Hopefully I with be able to return to wet jelques and a couple other things later this fall.
