What are your thoughts/experiences/gaines with length pumping?

I have a small cylinder pump with gauge.

Do you have tips maybe?

Get to know your glans tolerance to vacuum level and time. You’ll be packing the cylinder with the shaft and the glans will be taking the brunt of the force. One thing I’ve found helpful is to use water in the air pump leaving an air gap. I feel less pressure on the glans when doing this and haven’t experienced any blisters this way.

Measuring for accuracy and not gains is important. We can all tweak the ruler a bit, don’t get stuck on it. Measuring day to day is good for reading workouts and varying EQ/PI’s. Measuring for gains after a couple or few days rest when all the workout stress is gone, is best, when you’re natural.

For all that goes, when I’m fresh off the pump, or even a day after, my glans itself is bigger and longer. I’m sure the shaft is too, but that’s harder to quantify. That said, knowing my glans length can effect my BPEL, I wait for it to normalize. My pumped glans gains .25”+/- if I’ve pumped in the last 24-36 hours. Much more residual than my shaft, from BP ridge measurements.

In addition to overall in tube length - ITL during a pump session, I usually make a mental note of just my glans ITL; when I first start, and check it again just before I’m done. From the ridge to tip. i.e. 6” ridge - 7.75” tip at start, 7” ridge - 9” tip at finish, in the tube. Just to see how much my overall ITL was glans expansion or shaft.

I take 2 post workout measurements, to the ridge BP, and BPEL. I check them against my rested measurements and subtract differences. You won’t see much difference day to day, but weeks of records will show you what you need to know, and if your shaft is being affected or you’re just blowing up your glans. Your workout can be adjusted accordingly from one day to the next, in the form of time and vacuum.

Edema notwithstanding, increased vacuum will affect the glans, increased time will affect the shaft. There’s a balance, you have to find that on your own.

In that regard, cylinder size is directly related, and should be sized accordingly to the result desired. The shaft and glans are different tissue types and react each in their own way.

The glans will always react faster especially to high vacuum, in any duration, as it’s less fibrous and structurally weaker than the inner shaft itself. Also, the outer shaft will react way before the inner shaft tissues will, and can be treated the same as the glans. Keeping the vacuum low and just above natural body pressure, 3-4inhg, and the duration up will expand both relatively equally. Modulated with duration, equal expansion is about as fast as can be considered worthwhile in this manner. Regardless of individual efficacy, excess fluid buildup in the outer layers is just that, it then turns into skin stretching and that’s pretty much it. Inner tissues are done, and the exercise can be stopped.

When a tight -from the start- cylinder is used, for length, all the force is exerted in pull; from the glans. Like a semi-expanded stretch. Length pumping is very similar to extending and hanging in that regard. That said, if you benefit from length pumping, extending or hanging may be just as viable or vice-versa.

The glans is taking all the force at this point. The shaft cannot form edema, there’s no room. When edema around the corona and glans begins to form, a considerable stop point, you’re just stretching skin. - If you’re attempting to restore foreskin, this is exactly the path a person would want. If you’re wanting to lengthen the shaft, you’ve found a point that vacuum must be decreased and time increased to achieve the desired stretch in the shaft without edema.

While related in function, this is where length pumping departs from extending/hanging: pumpers can infinitely change the pull at any time with pulsing. Going from nothing to a truckload in a few seconds, and back to nothing. If you think of it in terms of load. 15 minutes pulsing 50/50 from 5-15inhg is the same as 30 minutes at 10inhg, right? Yes and no. The weaker tissue didn’t have time to create edema and was allowed to release, and the thicker tighter tissue was subjected to the higher forces needed for expansion. Raising the question, was it enough time to make a difference? If it expands slower, it must deflate slower too. Ponder that.

Trial and error from one person to the next will find the balance that inner tissues expand equally with the outer tissue. Unfortunately, with pumping, there’s no real way to expand the stronger inner tissue apart from the weaker outer tissue. You can extend the duration and enhance inner expansion by trying to equalize the two. Hence, vacuum for the glans, time for the shaft.

Math class:
With extending and hanging in mind for comparison, using my stats, a packed 2” tube at 5inhg is about 2.5lbs pull on the shaft and about 7.7lbs total on the glans itself.

In an unpacked tube, with room all way around, the vacuum forces spread across everything at 5inhg on paper is about .06lbs on the shaft and glans. With a healthy blood pressure of 2psi, that becomes .4lbs. Almost nothing. A packed tube is crucial at this point, for any length pull whatsoever.

I can’t account for everyone’s glans shape and surface area, this is basic.
For packed tubes:
PSI = inHg * 0.49115 ~ shaft pull
A = πr2 ~ your tube diameter surface area
TPSI = PSI * A
APSI = (TPSI * 0.068046) 14.695948775 ~ Actual glans pull, this accounts for atmosphere and internal body pressure in a packed tube.

For unpacked tubes:
PSI = inHg * 0.49115
PSI = (PSI * 0.068046) 14.695948775
S = 2πr(h+r) ~ your penis surface area
T = PSI/S ~ total force in every direction

Looking at the numbers. Pumping in anything but a packed tube for length seems pretty abysmal. Pumping for girth is gonna be a slow endeavor. Edema is up to you.

I’ve try to find a answer on my question, but I couldn’t find it. I couldn’t find posts of guys for who length pumping is ‘his way’ to gain length. Any gain results, any before and after pics.

I like the feeling of pumping and like doing it, because its easy and you see a nice P expand.
I see my P grow to the measurements I hope my P will be.
But I don’t read any enthusiastic guys for who length pumping really works.

Do you have good gaines?
What are your gaines and in what period?

My entire thread thus far, was length pumping. That’s all I did, for a whole year, 1.25” gain. I switched to girth last September.
