anti,
>1) Stretching straight down creates a great pull, but I can almost stretch all the way BTC without feeling pain. Should I always stretch as far back (or down however you’re looking at it) as I can when I’m working the ligs?<
It takes a while before most people can do a true BTC with max force. Untill then there’s two things you can do.
1- Hang or stretch as close to BTC as possible, and when it becomes uncomfortable move the angle away from BTC so it is comfortable again, or
2- Hang or stretch a true BTC, but use less force.
>2) From what I understand, constant fatigue of the ligs creates greater stretch over time. An indicator of this is soreness. So are days off necessary or should I just go at it 7 days a week. Also, should I couple the exercises with ADS in order to maximize the stressed state of the tissues?<
If you have 3-4 months of PE experience, and there are no other factors like pain, skin soreness, scarring, numbness etc, then you can hang/stretch 7 days a week. If there are problems, solve them before going 7 days. If you have less experience, hang/stretch for 5 days a week at first, but have a target number of hours per week to do.
ADS is good, but again only do that after you have a few months under your belt. Dont do too much all at once, build it up gradually.
