Liposuction for fatpad

(2) had any suggested questions for me to ask.

I am well aware that diet and exercise increase NBPEL, and also that many members perceive (perhaps correctly) that the entire BPEL can be used effectively during sex. Those two issues are not my concern; I just want to know about experiences or suggestions regarding the liposuction. I’m in no way committing to this surgery, but I like to explore all options. Below are some related threads, but none really provide an in-depth discussion of suprapubic liposuction.

I just wanted to comment. I believe you should get down to a lowest body fat level that you can maintain for a long duration before doing the pubic lipo. This way there is little to nothing that should "come back".

We all want to know how thin they can go, and before and after results in pictures and measurements.

Hi dj,

I agree that getting down to the lowest body fat possible is ideal. This hopefully will give me motivation to drop the weight “just in case”. I was down to 16% and I rediscovered enchiladas, so I’m now around 24%.

Just an observatory note — I’ve been doing crunches 3-4 times a week for the past year and a half. Before when I was at 25ish percent, even if I flexed my abdominals, I saw zero definition. Now, when I flex, even at such a high body fat percentage, I can see definition. Granted, to get the definition all the time I would need to drop a helluva lot of fat.

If you’ve never trained before, you should be able to easily shed a lot of that fat pretty quickly. Start lifting weights and eating meat (I prefer a low carb diet but it may not be for you) and the fat will start falling off.

A good book for beginners is The New Rules of Lifting by Lou Schuler and Alwyn Cosgrove. It has a bunch of routines that are suitable for all levels of training as well as some good info in general.

Stats:

Current: BPEL-6.5" mid-shaft EG-5" Goal: NBPEL-9" EG-6.5"

I think you won’t like this, but did you ever consider that doing so many crunches makes your abdominal muscles grow a lot? Actually, it’s the main effect of crunches, because their efficiency in removing abdominal fat is just a busted myth… Then, the large volume abdominal muscles act almost like the fat pad, hiding your unit.

Starting BPEL: 6.9" (Dec.1st, 2008)

Current BPEL: 8.11" NBPEL: 7.63" BPFSL: 9.09"

Current MEG : 5.6"

This isn’t really true for a person with low body fat. The main bulk of the abdominal muscles ends above the pubic bone where the penis ligs attach. With low % of fat, the abs sweep down to the penis gradually and don’t really hide any of the penis.

Cervix and mushroom:

I will ask one of my close friends who’s a doctor about this and give you guys a heads up as to what he says.

That would suck if abdominal muscle compromised to an extent NBPEL.

I have been started to exercise too and I think that is going to be hard for you to reduce your fat pad, maybe you can lighten your belly and reduce the downward pressure from it but I don’t think that supra pubic fat is really burnable by normal means.

Also big abdominal muscles can give the appearance of fat while wearing clothes.

Okay, I am scheduling the fatpad liposuction with the doctor this week. However, while I am calling this week, I plan on having the procedure done at the beginning of October of 2011. That way I have about half a year to get my body fat down to around 8 percent (I have let myself go; I am probably at 27 percent right now), and then have the doctor can do his thing to further reduce the fatpad. My goal out of both the natural reduction of body fat and the suprapubic liposuction will be .35 of an inch. That way, I can increase my NBPEL to around 4.75”.

I will keep a log of how the natural body fat reduction as well as the liposuction goes.

Skatezy777,

If your bpel is truly 5.625, you can get your NBPEL to 5.400” or so if they totally clear the fat pad out. This is because really lean guys have a fat pad of .250”, if your going to get it lipoed I’m not sure why you would leave more.

Hi dj,

I don’t want to be overly optimistic. The BPEL is when I am pushing fairly hard so that really is my maximum measurement. When I push my fat pad in, I am close to 4.75” so that is what I am aiming for. That being said, I will instruct the doctor to take as much as he can out.

skatezy777,

But if you can push and something gives ( fat ), then that is truly a damn near to the bone measurement.

Think about this, NONE of us could get a truly BPEL measurement, because your not going to penetrate the skin and fat and hit the bone. Under the ruler will always be a thin layer of pinched skin and squished fat taking away from a true BPEL measurement.

Thnx for the info and yikes that’s a high cost for such an easy procedure =/
I’m slightly overwight by a few kg and got that annoying fatpad flappin around but I got some gymgoals instead. Got some goals set til my birthday in May but it’s targeted on musclebuilding and cardio so the fat will just “run” off on it’s own. I believe you’ll get some great results if you hit the gym and target on anything else BUT weightloss. In my experience it’s easier to target musclebuilding/strength and cardio increase then actual weightloss cause the results are often faster (if done right) and you’ll get that weightloss as a bonus, without even worrying about it.

PS:
I’m sorry but I bever saw there was a second page on this thread so this comment was ment towards your last thread on page 1 =)

UPDATE: The doctor wants a non-refundable $1000 deposit upon scheduling a surgery, so I am holding off. I will get to 10 percent body fat and then see where I’m at and reassess.

skatezy777,

I am wondering where this ended up, whether you scheduled it or not.

I could be wrong but it seems to me that mother nature intended for there to be padding at that particular location so that you won’t have bone knocking against bone. In the female body that area known as the Mons Veneris and the padding slightly more pronounced than on males.
