I just wrote quite a bit in a new thread, disguised as a Progress Report. It’s no use to repost it here, or to copy bits of it. Long story short: 24 years old, med student, discovered PE, discovered it actually worked (the Clan of Studenticus Medicus is really, really skeptical on almost everything so I did NOT expect that), and now I made an account here. You guys actually changed my life for the better. Now please don’t start crying manly tears of joy ;)

A med student? Welcome. How do you feel that you can actually increase your penis size and erection quality,with something that traditional medicine would consider as bollocks?

I would really like to know.What does that say to a future doctor?

Like I said, med students are trained to be highly skeptical, not just on alternative medicine but in general. At the same time, and this might sound as a contradiction at first, we are trained to keep an open mind on anything. The world of alternative medicine is huge, and to quote Sturgeons Law: 90% of everything is crap (see here:http://tvtropes .org/pmwiki/pmw … in/SturgeonsLaw ). That does mean that 10% is not crap, and that must mean it either does nothing at all or it actually works. I just happen to be more open-minded than most of my colleagues, and am very curious by nature.

To give an example, for years the bulwark of medicine refused to believe that acupuncture could do anything, and the vague talk of energy flows in a body did not help at all. When the articles arrived that gave evidence that it did actually work, mostly to relieve stress (and relieving stress starts a whole cascade of good things in the body), a good percentage of doctors embraced it. This is true where I work, the Netherlands, and I think that it goes for most western countries.

I started jelqing purely out of curiosity, and the informed knowledge that it could do little harm. If it didn’t work, I lost nothing except 20 minutes per day for a month. I started out with 6.7" BPEL and was quite happy with that size, so there was no true motivation to do it. If it did work, I did gain something (pun intended). And it worked! Even though I am satisfied with my size before I started I would be an idiot not to continue now.

I started a thread in Progress Reports, and when I have time (mostly in weekends) I will try to give a medical point of view from time to time. There’s a lot of information out there, and maybe I can condensate and simplify it a bit.

Always useful. The 90% crap thing is probably an underestimate of the stuff here. It’s funny how a field with no research to back it picks up old wives tales and superstition. If you really want to help, I can think of something else.

I was going to start a thread asking if anyone follows a natural diet rich in l-arginine, l-citruline, zinc with a propriate balance of copper,choline and vitamin c, combined with PE and exercise, can maximize gains, or make it come sooner. I did my homework.Perhaps the only supplement I think is useful with this kind of diet is a b-complex. I think something similar was asked a lot of times in this forum, but I don’t remember if included the exact above combination.

What do you think? Too much knowledge and information are never bad.Even if it can be comfusing.

Yes, I think so. There is no formal, scientific, controlled research done in this field. Then again, this forum is filled with people who show almost undeniable proof PE works. The beauty of an anonymous forum is that there is no real reason to lie and brag: there is nothing to be won by lying about your 10” destroyer here, and you guys would probably figure it out pretty fast. When someone tells a story of a 1” permanent gain and the happiness that comes with that, I have no reason to believe it’s a lie.

While it is not science, there is definitely research at work here. Person A starts PE, and is the first to tell about his experience. Person B tries something else that might improve it. Person C improves upon that, but does it terribly wrong. It’s bad news for Mr. C, but at least we know not to do that! And the end result of that is the newbie routine. An almost perfectly safe method. It’s incremental improvement, and that should be enough.

God, that is a difficult question. I have seen a lot of discussions on those substances, mostly because they can improve EQ and sperm volume. Because that was on another anonymous forum (4chan) I have no reason to believe those were lies either. The most important aspect is this: if you want to take a diet rich in those substances, it will be very difficult to get the same dose as for example in a supplement. Check supplements for how concentrated they are: a lot of homeopathic crap (see my friend, mr. Sturgeon ;) ) contains almost no effective dose.

I am planning to use several of those as well, mostly l-arginine, zinc and b-complex. The reason I don’t buy them yet is simple: I am still a student and that stuff is too expensive for me now. To get them from a natural diet would be quite difficult. It’s the same as trying to elevate potassium by eating tons of bananas. You. Will. Start. To. Loathe. Bananas. It is most certainly not dangerous unless you overdose them.

There is a relation to EQ and gains from PE. There is a relation between substances like l-arginine, l-citruline, zinc, copper, choline and vitamin c and EQ. And I firmly believe there is no 1 miracle substance, I think a combination is always better. If you think that you can make it work with a natural diet that would be the best option, and I am fairly positive it will make a positive impact. Hell, even if it doesn’t work you have the added benefit of eating healthier and thinking about what and how much you eat, and that mindset can make a PE routine much easier. Helpful?

Welcome sir, read the forum guidelines and have respect for our fellow brothers and you will do fine. I will share with you my Philosophy.

I stayed motivated, because my wife helped me PE, but when we started out, something was wrong, something was missing. We had to re-think this because something was not right or just not happening. We brainstormed. We discussed what I was trying to achieve. I had to set a goal. I did. Now then, was my goal unrealistic? It was not, but I did meet it only because of the help of my wife. But now, if I were to advise on setting a goal, I would tell you to set a realistic goal like 1/4 inch in length. Once that is met, set another goal of another 1/4 inch and meet that. That is already 1/2 inch met which is a significant length gains, but continue to set those realistic goals. Girth is different. A goal of a 1/4 of an inch in girth gains is tough to meet, so set a goal of an 1/8 of an inch and meet that, and set your goal for another 1/8 of an inch.

The reason for the low goals is to feel the sense of not only victory, but success when accomplishing the goals, which in turn motivates you to continue on to next goal. Way too many members here set theirs very high and when it comes time to measure, they are sadly disappointed that the measurement is not even near, only to feel that they have a long road ahead of them. Those kind of goals don’t give you that instant feeling of victory or success and in some cases, deflates their motivation to continue or at least question all of this and as a result, slows them down, because lack of achievement.

This is my Philosophy and Theory of the way I operate PEing. The total key to all of this is having the Right Mind Set. My wife and I came up with this when we first started my PE regiment. I also feel we made an Art and a Science of how we were going to pursue this. Here is what our Key was with the categories underneath:

Have The Right MIND SET, this is the main key to PEing that opens the other keys and they are:

o Dedication: You must be dedicated to PEing as you are to get up and go to the gym or work, but this is free.

o Consistency: Be consistent with your exercises. Set a schedule and routine and stick to it, until you feel the
need to add to your Routine, or change you schedule. You must mix up your schedule as your
Penis/body will learn and adjust your schedule. Same with body building, the muscles learn,
and adjust to a body builders schedule.

o Concentration: Concentrate on the exercise you are doing at the moment, are you doing them correctly, and
Are you getting all you can out the 1 rep you are currently doing, do the same with the next
rep.

o Focus: During the exercise, focus on what you are feeling and what is going on during the exercise. Focus
On the area you feel needs work by the amount of pressure you feel in 1 area and not the other areas.
Always be aware of what you are doing and how you are doing it and what you are feeling.

o Believe: Most importantly, you must ‘Believe’ that everything you are doing during the exercise is working.

This is not a race for time nor is it a competition of how many reps one can do in a certain amount of time. It is all about dedication and consistency, concentration and focus during the exercise; and to believe that each exercise is working for you. This is all plain and simple. Once you get your rhythm, you may not have to do as many repetitions to achieve in 20 reps what you would have achieved in 60 to 80 reps. It really is all in the mind.

Lurker getting serious.

Hi everyone. I have been a lurker here for a while because I wasn’t ready to get serious. Lately I have been doing a lot more reading on the site and decided to start a spreadsheet with my stats, routine, supplements, notes, etc. To track my progress. I started on 9/10/2015 with the newbie routine doing 2 days PE, rest day, 3 days PE, and a rest day to complete the week. I have been doing kegels and jelqs off and on for 10+ years with no real consistency or results. I decided to get serious about this and see where it goes. My starting stats are 6.00” BPEL and 4.875” MS EG. My initial goal is to get to 7” BPEL and 5.5” MS EG. As I stated I have been doing a lot of reading and am looking forward to interacting with everyone here. Thanks for such a wonderful and informative site and experience. Can’t wait to get this moving!

Your goals are very realistic. Just commit for at least a year. Welcome.
